Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill has impressed head coach Adam Gase so far in this young offseason. "I didn't realize how live his arm is," Gase said. "The more I watch him throw, it's effortless. That ball travels down the field pretty good. He's hit some big plays, just underneath having some touch; it's been good to see things live."
Fantasy Tip: Tannehill has received his fair share of criticism over the last few years for underperforming. The news is promising thus far, but we'll see how he looks when the game matters. He has played better as his career has progressed, but he's not quite considered a consistent starting fantasy quarterback just yet.

Miami Dolphins RB Daniel Thomas already knows the offensive terminology and what to expect, according to head coach Adam Gase. Gase added that Thomas is a step ahead of everyone in meetings, too, as Thomas played under Gase when they were both with the Chicago Bears.
Fantasy Tip: Thomas will most definitely be playing at least behind Jay Ajayi. He'll have to compete for the backup spot, too. He has underwhelmed throughout his career, though, and holds next to no fantasy relevance.

Miami Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi is viewed as the starter in the eyes of head coach Adam Gase. "He knows he's the starter," Gase said. "He's showing me a lot of great things. I like his skill set. He's impressd me more both days [of practice]."
Fantasy Tip: The Dolphins could still add to their running back depth during the NFL draft, but Ajayi is the guy right now. He showed promise as a rookie last year and plays the part of a capable starter. If Ajayi stays healthy and doesn't have to compete for many touches, he has RB2 upside.

Miami Dolphins OT Laremy Tunsil could be placed in the NFL drug program, but he faces no discipline from the leaked video that surfaced on draft day because he's not in the program right now. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said Tunsil's entry into the program "is up to the medical clinicians." Tunsil has not failed any drug tests in his two years at Ole Miss, but the video of him smoking from a bong would still merit potential reference into the program.

Miami Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi said he wants to drop eight to 10 pounds this season and play around 218 pounds to 220 pounds in order to be shiftier. He played between 228 pounds and 230 pounds last season.
Fantasy Tip: Ajayi showed promise in his rookie season despite playing second fiddle to Lamar Miller. With Miller out of town, Ajayi figures to take over as Miami's starting running back, although he could have more competition after the NFL Draft. For now, view Ajayi as a low-end RB2.
