Miami Dolphins rookie WR DeVante Parker has already gained the attention of QB Ryan Tannehill. "He's a good player. You can see his athleticism, his natural ability, already," Tannehill said. "He made a bunch of good catches [Tuesday] -- catches where he's using his body, keeping the defender off of him. He catches the ball with his hands."
Fantasy Tip: Parker still has some work to do as he will likely play behind Jarvis Landry, Kenny Stills and Greg Jennings to start the season. It will be hard for the Dolphins to keep Parker off the field, however, considering what Tannehill said about him.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill praised his largely rebuilt wide receivers corps Tuesday, May 26, saying this is the most athletic group he has worked with in the NFL. He also praised them for being natural hands-catchers.
Fantasy Tip: Tannehill's receiving corps from the top to bottom, including tight end, has been completely redone, with the lone exception being 2014 rookie standout WR Jarvis Landry, the likely slot guy. Tannehill needs to build chemistry with his targets, but he is right -- this is easily the most athletic group he has worked with in his short NFL career. Fantasy owners are looking at a risky low-end QB1 or an ideal No. 2 target whose ceiling is vaulted.

Fantasy Tip: Parker has performed well in offseaon workouts and should have a solid chance to win a starting job during training camp. Parker could be a late-round option for owners in deeper leagues, because he should receive solid playing time in his rookie season.

Fantasy Tip: Miller had a solid 2014 campaign, so Ajayi would really need to impress this offseason in order to take the starting role away from Miller. It could very well end up being a running back by committee deal in Miami this season, but Miller is still the running back to own in Miami. He has RB2 potential if he maintains his status as the Dolphins' No. 1 running back.

Updating previous reports, Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill will earn $12.2 million in 2015, but only $745,000 of it will be in base salary. His 2016 base salary of $9.34 million is fully guaranteed. In 2017, the Dolphins will have five days into the league year to decide whether to fully guarantee his $17.47 million base salary, which essentially gives the Dolphins an opt-out if Tannehill struggles to meet expectations over the next two seasons. His contract contains no guaranteed money in 2019 and 2020, other than the prorated signing bonus in Year 5, so Miami could save $17 million in 2019 and $18 million in 2020 by releasing him.
Fantasy Tip: The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero said Dolphins executives looked at him like he had a horn growing out of his forehead when he asked what happens if Tannehill flops, which illustrates how much confidence the organization has in their young passer. Tannehill's 2015 season could get off to a rocky start with all of the offensive turnover possibly needing more time build chemistry, but there's no denying his new receiving corps is more explosive than the 2014 cast. He is a fringe QB1.

Miami Dolphins RB Lamar Miller enters the final year of his rookie contract and is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2016, according to Spotrac.com. Miller appears poised to headline the free-agent running back class with another strong season and could be playing for a big contract.
Fantasy Tip: Miller looks to build on a strong 2014 campaign and is the lead horse in South Beach. He added roughly seven pounds of muscle this offseason and stands to benefit from an improved supporting cast. He's a sneaky buy as a high-upside RB1 if you like to go with early wide receivers in drafts.
