Miami Dolphins OT Branden Albert could be traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for TE Julius Thomas, according to league sources, and Albert said he wouldn't "ruffle feathers" if he was traded.
Fantasy Tip: Thomas was underutilized in Jacksonville, and he has battled injuries throughout his career. However, he also has a couple of strong years under his belt. He is worth grabbing as a TE2 in 2017 in case he returns to form.

Miami Dolphins DT Jordan Phillips is likely to take over as one of the starting defensive tackles after the team released DT Earl Mitchell. Denver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph, when he was still Miami's defensive coordinator, called Phillips "obviously a big man with talent" and "a player that, if you can take his explosive or flash plays, you can make a tape and it's special."

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Julius Thomas could be included in a trade that would send Miami Dolphins OT Branden Albert to the Jaguars, in the opinion of The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero. Head coach Adam Gase coached Thomas when they were both with the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Tip: Thomas is a solid contributor when he is healthy but has been limited to 21 games over the last two years because of injuries. He probably would be the starting tight end if he joined the Dolphins but would be a risky option for fantasy owners. He probably should be considered a No. 2 fantasy tight end next season.
