Fantasy Tip: Johnson probably will have to fight for a roster spot since there are several other players above him on the depth chart. Owners should avoid Johnson in drafts this season.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) is expected to be ready for training camp, according to wide receivers coach Jerry Sullivan. Sullivan added that Lee will be managed in order to preserve his health.
Fantasy Tip: It's certainly encouraging that Lee should be ready for training camp after he missed all of organized team activities and minicamp. Lee will have some ground to make up upon his return. He should be viewed as a WR5.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon has picked up the offense at a fast rate this offseason, according to running backs coach Kelly Skipper. "The impressive thing about T.J. is that he picked up the offense quickly," Skipper said. "For the most part, when he gets something, he has it [down] and we can move onto the next thing."
Fantasy Tip: Yeldon is considered the favorite for the starting job, so owners should monitor his progress during training camp to see if he will receive most of the carries. Yeldon could be a middle-round option in drafts this season but will not be an every-week starter.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Julius Thomas is expected to help the offense in the red zone since he caught 13 passes and nine touchdowns in the red zone last season. The Jaguars ranked last in touchdowns (13) and completion percentage (39.1%) in the red zone last season.
Fantasy Tip: Thomas received one of the bigger contracts this offseason and should be one of the main targets in the passing game this season. His fantasy value will take a hit because of his quarterback, but he could still be a No. 1 tight end in most leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles was given a checklist by offensive coordinator Greg Olson before the Jaguars six-week break in offseason programs. "A lot of it is him homing in on the protections," Olson said. "When he gets back here, we want him to be completely clear on what he's doing at the line of scrimmage in terms of that," said Olson.
Fantasy Tip: Bortles has shown improvement already this offseason, according to a variety of sources. Bortles isn't yet in the QB1 conversation, but he should be considered as a top-end QB2, and he will have weeks of being a FantasyScore consideration.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles worked with throwing coach Tom House and former NFL QB Jordan Palmer this offseason in hopes of tightening his throwing motion and learning to use his whole body when he throws. He indicated his plan was to work out with WRs Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns leading up to training camp and work on his deep throws.
Fantasy Tip: Bortles will be the team's quarterback for the foreseeable future, and the team should be happy that he is trying to improve after he threw 17 interceptions in 14 games last season. Bortles could be a No. 2 quarterback in deeper leagues but probably will not see much time in starting lineups.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles (shoulder) dealt with a shoulder injury near the end of the 2014 season, which affected his ability to throw passes, according to general manager Dave Caldwell. Bortles did not need surgery during the offseason.
Fantasy Tip: Bortles did struggle at times last season which led to 17 interceptions but was able to 2,908 and 11 touchdowns in 14 games. His play should improve this season since he knows what to expect and could be a No. 2 quarterback in deeper leagues.
