Updating previous reports, Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles' (shoulder) sprained his throwing shoulder Sunday, Oct. 11, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It is uncertain if Bortles will be able to play in Week 6 versus the Houston Texans.
Fantasy Tip: Bortles has been uncharacteristically solid in so far in his sophomore campaign. His status will need to be monitored throughout the week, but he has become a serious contender for an every-week starter, especially if the rest of one's quarterbacks are under producing.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles (shoulder) likely will not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 14, but that should not indicate his status for the Week 6 game against the Houston Texans, according to head coach Gus Bradley.
Fantasy Tip: Owners should look for information on Bortles' status later in the week because he could be in danger if he misses several practices in a row. Owners should probably look for other options to use in their lineups.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles (shoulder) suffered a Grade 1 shoulder sprain during the team's Week 5 game and his status will be updated later in the week, according to head coach Gus Bradley.
Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to see if Bortles is able to practice this week to have an idea on his status for the Week 6 game against the Houston Texans. He has posted solid numbers over the first five games of the season but should not be considered a starting option at this point.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) will likely factor more into the offense as he gets back up to speed and knocks off the rust, but FantasyScore players should avoid him until he sees more targets.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson ($4,900, 9.8% of cap) has quite a nice rapport with Blake Bortles ($5,000, 10.0% of cap), emerging as a solid WR2 or flex play on a weekly basis in FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Hurns ($2,600, 5.2% of cap) showed no ill effects of the ankle injury which had him listed on the injury report. He has 60 or more receiving yards in each of his past five games, touchdowns in three straight and back-to-back performances with 116 receiving yards. He has emerged as a must-start in FantasyScore, especially at this low-level price.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles completed 23 of his 33 pass attempts for 303 yards, four touchdowns and an interception in the Week 5 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also ran once for 21 yards.
Fantasy Tip: Bortles ($5,000, 10.0% of cap) has emerged as a solid mid-tier FantasyScore option when the matchup is favorable, especially since he has two unheralded receivers in Allen Hurns ($2,600, 5.2% of cap) and Allen Robinson ($4,900, 9.8% of cap).

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (groin) said Sunday, Oct. 11, that he is fine and the injury he suffered in the Week 5 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is not serious.
Fantasy Tip: Despite his declaration, Yeldon ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) is still a risky play in FantasyScore going forward until he has had a chance to prove his health in a full game without any setbacks.

Fantasy Tip: Yeldon ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) had 32 rushing yards on 11 carries, along with six receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game. Check back for further updates on his status.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) has not played since the first preseason game, so he may be a little rusty early in the game. Thomas is a risky option to use since it is his first game back, so owners that have other options available may want to keep him on the bench for at least one week.

The Jacksonville Jaguars and QB Blake Bortles are scoring only 15.5 points per game through four games, which is worse than their mark last year (15.6) when they had five rookie starters. Head coach Gus Bradley said there was added emphasis on attention to detail this week, and he expects a more efficient offense moving forward.
Fantasy Tip: Forget the lackluster Jaguars offense for a bit in Week 5 with them facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is a solid daily matchup for Bortles ($5,000, 10.0% of cap), and he could reward handsomely for those willing to take the risk with him as a sleeper quarterback.

Fantasy Tip: Hurns ($2,600, 5.2% of cap) is coming off an 11-catch game and is worth the basement flyer on FantasyScore. Lewis ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) was targeted eight times last week and hauled in five grabs for 40 yards. He, too, is a basement flyer worth consideration.

Fantasy Tip: It'll probably be another week for JT to return. Marcedes Lewis ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) was targeted eight times last week and hauled in five grabs for 40 yards. He is a basement flyer worth consideration on FantasyScore.
