Updating a previous report, the Indianapolis Colts completed their workout with free-agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw (Giants) Monday, Oct. 5. He finished last season on the Reserve/Injured list due to a broken leg. He has served as one-game suspension as a free agent, so he is eligible to play immediately if signed.

Indianapolis Colts CB Greg Toler (neck) has been cleared to return to action in the Week 5 game Thursday, Oct. 8, against the Houston Texans. That's good news with CB Vontae Davis (foot) nursing a foot injury, and CB Jalil Brown (groin) possible out a while, according to head coach Chuck Pagano. The team also signed CB Shaun Prater to the active roster Monday, Oct. 5.

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) could be on target to play in the Week 5 game against the Houston Texans Thursday, Oct. 8, as the team released QB Josh Johnson. QB Matt Hasselbeck also said Monday, Oct. 5, that he does not expect to play Thursday, indicating Luck will be ready.
Fantasy Tip: The Texans defense was terrible in Week 4 in Atlanta, but Luck ($8,300, 16.6% of cap) is still a risky play for FantasyScore players given the fact he is coming off an injury.

Fantasy Tip: Gore lands on the injury report after Week 4 on a short week, so he's certainly worth watching as Thursday night approaches. He's had at least 14 carries in each of the last three games and added five catches Sunday, but hasn't done much outside of a two-touchdown performance in Week 3. However, if Gore is healthy enough to play this week against the Texans, he could be useful as an under-the-radar sleeper pick with Houston allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game in PPR leagues to running backs (28.2).

Fantasy Tip: It's good news that Allen is back at practice for a walkthrough early during a short week, but he'll still be questionable for the Thursday night game against the Houston Texans, which makes him too risky for FantasyScore gamers.

Indianapolis Colts DT Henry Anderson (foot), CB Jalil Brown (groin), CB Vontae Davis (foot), LB Jerrell Freeman (groin), DE Kendall Langford (back), RB Tyler Varga (concussion) and LB Bjoern Werner (hamstring) did not practice Monday, Oct. 5. CB Greg Toler (neck) practiced in full.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) is "trending in the right direction" to return against the Houston Texans in Week 5 Thursday, Oct. 8, after taking part in the team's walkthrough practice Monday, Oct. 5. He handed the ball off and then threw some screen passes to running backs in the portion of practice open to the media. Head coach Chuck Pagano said Luck had "no setbacks." An MRI exam showed that Luck was dealing with a bruised shoulder despite a report that he had a shoulder separation.
Fantasy Tip: Luck has been a huge disappointment so far this year for his fantasy owners and at FantasyScore. Houston is a nice matchup for quarterbacks this year, but at a higher daily price, Luck still carries plenty of risk until he shows us he's fully healthy and able to make all the necessary throws.

Fantasy Tip: Allen does not have much time to prepare for the game, so the team may decide to keep him out so he can have more time to recover from the injury. Coby Fleener likely will continue to see most of the work at tight end and could be a solid option.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) is expected to play in the Week 5 game against the Houston Texans Thursday, Oct. 8. Luck has a slightly separated throwing shoulder but there is no structural damage in the shoulder, according to a source.
Fantasy Tip: Luck only has a few days to prepare for the game, so owners should monitor the situation to see if he suffers any setbacks. He will be a risky fantasy option because it is not known if the injury will affect his throwing. Owners can consider using Luck this week if he is active but could bench him if they have another solid option.

Fantasy Tip: Luck missed the Week 4 game because of the injury and does not have much time to prepare for the Week 5 game against the Houston Texans since it will be played Thursday, Oct. 8. Luck is one of the better quarterbacks in fantasy when he is healthy, so he could be a starting option if he plays.

Updating an earlier report, Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) is expected by the team to be under center Thursday, Oct. 8, against the Houston Texans. His shoulder injury isn't viewed as a long-term injury.
Fantasy Tip: Luck carried an $8,300 (16.6% of cap) price tag in Week 4 on FantasyScore, so you'll have to check the practice reports before using him in the good matchup in Week 5.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) has a short week to prepare for Week 5, but he's trending toward being ready Thursday, Oct. 8, against the Houston Texans. "He made progress all week," coach Chuck Pagano said. "He made progress. So we're going to continue. He's getting treatment right now. He'll work out tomorrow and we'll just take it day-by-day and see where he's at."
Fantasy Tip: Luck would be an upper echelon consideration on FantasyScore against the Texans if he's able to go. His Week 4 price tag was $8,300 (16.6% of cap), so watch his progress through the week before allotting that large of a sum.
