Fantasy Tip: Moncrief should see solid playing time this season but his fantasy value may take a hit since the team has a lot of weapons in the passing game. There is a chance he could win the No. 3 wide receiver job during training camp and could be a late-round option in leagues if he receives consistent targets during the season.

Indianapolis Colts LB Nate Irving (knee) is ahead of schedule in his rehab from a torn anterior cruciate ligament and has a chance to be ready for the start of training camp, according to head coach Chuck Pagano.

Indianapolis Colts TE Coby Fleener said he wants to be a more consistent player and is looking to limit his mistakes on the field. "Your flubs are aired in front of the whole world. Whether you're sitting at a desk all day or whether you're playing football, nobody wants to make the 'Not Top 10.' Unfortunately I've been there and I'm trying to limit that as much as possible."
Fantasy Tip: Fleener is coming off a solid 2014 season with 774 receiving yards and eight touchdowns but will have to share targets with several other options in the passing game. Fleener could be a low-end No. 1 tight end or a No. 2 tight end in most fantasy leagues.

Indianapolis Colts OG Jack Mewhort could start at right tackle if OT Gosder Cherilus (groin, knee) is not ready to play during training camp. Mewhort will stay at left guard if Cherilus is healthy enough to play.

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett said he wants to be a playmaker for the team this season. "I consider myself a playmaker," Dorsett said. "I want to be able to earn their trust and be a guy that they can look to to make a big play and make a play anytime. I just want to earn their trust and that's it right now." Dorsett said he has learned all of the receiver positions and is ready for the start of training camp.
Fantasy Tip: Dorsett likely will see playing time in multi-receiver sets and could be used as a deep threat. Owners in deeper leagues could consider him an option in the late rounds of drafts that could have the potential to have a bigger impact on the team.

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore was in attendance for nearly all of the team's voluntary workouts, and he displayed a dedication that is not necessarily expected of such an established player. He appears fresh and is as motivated as ever.
Fantasy Tip: Gore appears to have plenty left in the tank, and thatís good news for the Colts who have just Boom Herron, Josh Robinson and Vick Ballard behind him, not exactly a whoís who of tailbacks.

Fantasy Tip: Ballard is making his way back from an ugly knee injury. When he does return heíll find a backfield which consists of Frank Gore, Boom Herron and Zurlon Tipton, among others. It will take Ballard a while to work his way into a meaningful role again, so fantasy owners can avoid drafting him for now.

The Indianapolis Colts are pleased with WR Phillip Dorsett, who has quickly acclimated to the offense while showing a varied skill set. "He's learning multiple positions in this offense, which is not easy," general manager Ryan Grigson said Monday, June 15.
Fantasy Tip: Dorsett isnít likely to make a huge impact in the passing game as long as Andre Johnson, T.Y. Hilton, etc. remain healthy. However, by the end of the season Dorsett could very well make a splash for fantasy owners.

Fantasy Tip: The speedy Hilton has 2,428 receiving yards over the past two seasons, and he has established himself as a borderline WR1 as Andrew Luck's main target.

Indianapolis Colts RB Vick Ballard (Achilles') has been able to participate in some individual drills this offseason. Ballard has not received medical clearance at this point but believes he can return to the field by August 1.
Fantasy Tip: Ballard likely will compete for the No. 2 running back job if he is healthy during training camp. He has played only one game over the last two seasons, so he could take his time in his recovery. Ballard likely will not see a lot of playing time if he is healthy this season since the team added Frank Gore. Ballard probably should not be more than a late-round option in deeper leagues.

Fantasy Tip: If anyone besides Andrew Luck deserves an extension on the Colts, it's Hilton, who amassed 82 catches for a career-high 1,345 yards and 7 touchdowns. Andre Johnson will join Hilton and a loaded wide receiver corps, including second-year wide receiver Donte Moncrief and rookie wide receiver Phillip Dorsett. Hilton will still be Luck's go-to target and should be drafted as a borderline WR1.

Indianapolis Colts TE Dwayne Allen said he isn't going to worry about a possible contract extension during the season. "It's a lot of mouths to feed, and if you worry about that, you're not going to play well," Allen said. "The best thing you can do for yourself is know that off-field stuff will take care of itself."
Fantasy Tip: Allen was a favorite target of Andrew Luck in the red zone, and he finished last season with eight touchdown catches. On the flip side, he doesn't pile up a ton of yards because of all the firepower at Luck's disposal, leaving him prone to the occasional dud. Allen is probably better served as a matchup play rather than an every-week starter.
