Fantasy Tip: Allen has slipped well behind Coby Fleener on the depth chart at tight end. While he is still a key piece of the offense, fantasy owners likely won’t want to pay him much mind unless he surprises during the early portion of the season.

Indianapolis Colts TE Coby Fleener is entering the final season of his rookie deal, and he is scheduled to become a free agent in spring 2016. He has established himself as one of the most criticial components of the Indy passing offense.
Fantasy Tip: Fleener has emerged as a Top 10 fantasy option at his position, perhaps Top 5 if he takes another step forward in 2015. Playing with his college quarterback Andrew Luck has done wonders for him, and moving away from Indy would likely be a bad career move. Look for Fleener and the Colts to figure out a way to get a deal done for the long term.

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton recently fired his agent and re-hired Drew Rosenhaus, a move believed to precede a contract negotiation. He has outperformed his third-round rookie deal, and likely wants a new deal. The two sides have had negotiations, but it is unclear if the talks have moved forward.
Fantasy Tip: Hilton has 2,428 receiving yards over the past two seasons, emerging as a top-flight fantasy option. He will once again be a solid low-end WR1 or must-start WR2 for fantasy players in 2015.

Indianapolis Colts OT Anthony Castonzo is slated to play under the fifth-year option of his rookie deal. The team sees him as their long-term left tackle, although according to sources there is no long-term deal imminent at this time.

Fantasy Tip: Luck will be a member of the Colts for at least two more years, and the team is expected to work on an extension for him next offseason. Luck likely will be one of the first quarterbacks drafted in fantasy leagues next season.

Fantasy Tip: Perriman had a strong showing at the scouting combine and has a chance to be selected in the first round of the draft. Perriman probably will not win a starting job during training camp but could be a later-round option in deeper leagues because of his deep threat ability.

Fantasy Tip: Moncrief showed flashes of his potential last season, and with a bigger role in 2015, he should be able to provide WR3 value in the Colts' high-powered passing attack.

Indianapolis Colts RB Vick Ballard (Achilles') is doing well in his rehab from a torn Achilles' tendon but there is no timetable for his return to the field, according to head coach Chuck Pagano. Ballard is expected to compete with RB Dan Herron for the No. 2 running back job if he is healthy.
Fantasy Tip: Ballard missed the entire 2014 season because of the injury and may sit out some of the offseason workouts. Ballard and Herron likely will compete for the backup job during training camp and the preseason. Owners should consider the winner of the competition as a later-round draft choice.

Free-agent WR Reggie Wayne (Colts) pleaded to remain with the Indianapolis Colts for one more season, but owner Jim Irsay told Wayne that the team decided to move on. "I have nothing bad to say about the Colts," Wayne said. "I have zero bad to say. They took me from the street and turned a frown upside down. Zero bad to say." Wayne had just 64 catches for 779 yards and two touchdowns in 2014 while dealing with nagging injuries, and he underwent triceps and knee surgery after the season.
Fantasy Tip: Wayne hasn't had much attention on the free-agent market after one of the worst seasons of his career. Coming off multiple surgeries at age 36 doesn't inspire a lot of confidence, either. Wayne's 2015 fantasy value will depend on where he lands, but you shouldn't think of him as anything better than a WR4.

Updating a previous item, Indianapolis Colts LB Robert Mathis (Achilles') has not started running in his rehab yet, but he's hoping to be ready for training camp this summer. Owner Jim Irsay said the worst-case scenario for Mathis would be to "re-emerge" in November of this year.
