Colts | Reggie Wayne won't return

Fri, 06 Mar 2015 07:34:47 -0800

Indianapolis Colts impending free-agent WR Reggie Wayne will not be re-signed for 2015, the team announced Friday, March 6.

Fantasy Tip: This carries more sentimental value than fantasy value. If Wayne decides to continue elsewhere, he'll have some value in PPR formats. He'll be a flyer as a WR5 in the last few rounds.

Thu, 05 Mar 2015 19:51:02 -0800

Detroit Lions impending free-agent DT Ndamukong Suh may not be an ideal fit for the Indianapolis Colts because he would have to adjust his style of play to move from his current 4-3 defense to a 3-4 defense.

Colts | Dan Herron receives tender

Thu, 05 Mar 2015 14:48:00 -0800

Indianapolis Colts RB Dan Herron was tendered as an exclusive rights free agent Thursday, March 5.

Fantasy Tip: Herron held his own last season with Ahmad Bradshaw sidelined and Trent Richardson disappointing. He was an especially nice asset in the passing game and subsequently in point-per-reception scoring leagues. He may not have the same role next season, but keep tabs on Indy's backfield situation as the offseason progresses.

Colts | Indy a suitor for DeMarco Murray?

Mon, 02 Mar 2015 17:20:39 -0800

Dallas Cowboys impending free-agent RB DeMarco Murray could be targeted by the Indianapolis Colts in free agency this offseason. General manager Ryan Grigson has $40 million to spend, and the Colts are in need of a running back after the failures of RB Trent Richardson.

Fantasy Tip: After what Murray did for the Cowboys in 2014, you better believe he'll be a highly sought after commodity in free agency if he doesn't re-sign with Dallas. A move to Indy wouldn't change his value all that much, as he'd become their primary running back. Murray carries injury risk as an RB1, however.

Colts | Reggie Wayne undergoes surgery

Fri, 27 Feb 2015 13:32:14 -0800

Indianapolis Colts impending free-agent WR Reggie Wayne (triceps) recently underwent surgery on his triceps and has started his rehab. Wayne still has not decided if he will play in 2015.

Fantasy Tip: Wayne likely would re-sign with the Colts if he does decide to play again next season. Wayne saw a decline in his stats this season and posted only one 100-yard game. Wayne is no longer an starting option each week but could be an option in later rounds of drafts as a No. 4 or 5 wide receiver.

Colts | Indy a trade option for Adrian Peterson?

Fri, 27 Feb 2015 11:33:46 -0800

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson could be a trade target for the Indianapolis Colts. QB Andrew Luck hasn't had a successful running game behind him so far in Indianapolis. However, Colts running backs not named RB Trent Richardson averaged close to 5.0 yards per carry in the last two seasons.

Fantasy Tip: Peterson will be a highly sought after fantasy football commodity when he returns to action in 2015, and we expect he'll be a top-five pick, if not considered for the overall selection. Going to Indy would be a fine place for him behind one of the game's best young quarterbacks.
