Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck said he has heard nothing from the team about extending his contract, contrary to published reports. Indianapolis Star reporter Stephen Holder says the Colts have no reason to rush any negotiations to redo Luck's rookie contract. He has two years remaining on the $22 million deal he signed as a rookie in 2012, which has a team option for 2016 that must be exercised later this year.

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts LB Andrew Jackson's drunken driving arrest Friday, Jan. 23, was his second such arrest in less than a year. Jackson was arrested eight months ago on a DUI charge, and the court agreed to defer prosecution on the charges. Jackson agreed to complete an alcohol and drug program, 40 hours of community service and not break the law for one year as part of the agreement. The court later said Jackson completed his community service and paid related fees, but on Oct. 8, the court found that he had not complied with the required treatment program. On Nov. 18, the court reinstated the deferment program and ordered that all charges would be dropped if Jackson agreed to supervision through Delaware County Community Corrections' drug and alcohol program for 365 days.

Indianapolis Colts RB Trent Richardson's status for next season is up in the air, according to general manager Ryan Grigson. "Where's he fit? Where's he going? Is his arrow up, down, sideways, 45 degree-angle?," Grigson said. "And we have to figure all these things out with guys in all different types of situations on this roster. There are guys across the board that are in a lot of different situations. But, again, when the coaches come back, when we seeing what's actually out there -- we have an idea, draft, juniors that have declared and things like that -- once that evolves we'll have a much better feel for what we need to do."

Rob Chudzinski, an Indianapolis Colts special assistant coach, could see his role on the team expand in the upcoming months. The Colts have blocked requests from the St. Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers to interview him.

Fantasy Tip: Richardson is likely done in Indy, and he's still young enough to attract a team with at least a committee role. He'll be an RB4 or RB5 with some upside depending on the situation.

Fantasy Tip: Herron had some bright spots, but the team clearly struggled with the running game after Ahmad Bradshaw (leg) went down. The team's RB situation will be one to watch, but Herron might be worth a flyer as a RB4 or RB5 in traditional drafts.
