Fantasy Tip: Mallett should be fine for the game against the Indianapolis Colts Thursday, Oct. 8, and is receiving another start despite being benched in Week 4. Mallett is not a strong option for fantasy owners and should be avoided.

Fantasy Tip: Foster recorded only 10 yards on eight carries and also lost a fumble during the game. He should be able to play against the Indianapolis Colts Thursday, Oct. 8, and could be a starting option.

Fantasy Tip: Shorts is dealing with a dislocated shoulder, so it does not look like he will be able to play against the Indianapolis Colts Thursday, Oct. 8. Jaelen Strong could see more playing time but is not a great option.

Fantasy Tip: Grimes could miss another game if he does not return to practice at some point in the next two days. Grimes likely would not see much playing time if he is active Thursday, Oct. 8, and should be avoided.

Fantasy Tip: Washington suffered the injury in the last game and appears to be questionable for the game against the Indianapolis Colts Thursday, Oct. 8. Washington has played well early in the season, but owners may want to look for other options because the injury may affect Washington.

Fantasy Tip: Owners can monitor the situation during the week, but Shorts likely will be sidelined for at last one week. Jaelen Strong could receive a bigger role because of the injuries the team has at receiver but is not a strong fantasy option.

Fantasy Tip: Despite suspect quarterback play, Hopkins ($7,300, 14.6% of cap) is enjoying a strong season. He has logged at least 11 targets in all four games, making him a reliable option at FantasyScore at the receiver position.

Houston Texans QB Ryan Mallett completed 12 of 27 passes for 150 yards and an interception and was replaced by QB Brian Hoyer in a 48-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4. Hoyer finished 17 of 30 for 232 yards and two touchdowns.
Fantasy Tip: Hoyer ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) looked like the better quarterback, albeit after the game was well out of hand. Neither Mallett ($4,700, 9.4% of cap) nor Hoyer should be used at FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Foster ($7,200, 14.4% of cap) struggled in his season debut, but on the plus side, he led the team in carries. Foster should resume his role as the workhorse back as long as he stays healthy, and better days are in store for him.

Houston Texans QB Ryan Mallett was benched in favor of QB Brian Hoyer during Week 4's game against the Atlanta Falcons. Mallett went 12-for-37 for 150 yards and one interception before giving way to Hoyer, who was 17-for-30 with 232 yards and two touchdowns.
Fantasy Tip: Houston was trailing Atlanta by 42 points at the time of the quarterback change and had been held scoreless up to that point. It is unknown who will start Week 5's game against the Indianapolis Colts but neither Mallett ($4,700, 9.4% of cap) nor Hoyer ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) is an ideal FantasyScore option.
