Houston Texans LB Jadeveon Clowney racked up six solo tackles, two sacks, four tackles for loss and three quarterback hits while also scooping up a 22-yard fumble for touchdown in Week 3 at New England. He is the third player in Texans history with two sacks and a fumble return for touchdown in a single game.

Texans | Bruce Ellington catches TD pass

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 14:44:04 -0700

Houston Texans WR Bruce Ellington caught four passes for 59 yards and one touchdown against the New England Patriots in Week 3.

Fantasy Tip: Ellington was added a few weeks ago and had an impact this week but likely will receive a lesser role when Will Fuller returns, so owners probably should avoid Ellington.

Texans | Ryan Griffin reaches end zone

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 14:43:36 -0700

Houston Texans TE Ryan Griffin caught five passes for 61 yards and one touchdown against the New England Patriots in Week 3.

Fantasy Tip: Griffin returned from his injury and will be the team's starting tight end moving forward. He should receive a decent amount of targets but likely will be a No. 2 tight end in most fantasy leagues.

Texans | DeAndre Hopkins continues strong play

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 14:33:33 -0700

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins caught seven passes for 76 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 3.

Fantasy Tip: Hopkins has the ability to produce no matter the starting quarterback and appears to be continuing that trend with Deshaun Watson as the starter. He should be at least a No. 2 fantasy receiver in most leagues.

Texans | D'Onta Foreman involved in run, pass game

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 14:30:09 -0700

Houston Texans RB D'Onta Foreman caught two passes for 65 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 3. He also rushed for 25 yards on eight carries during the game.

Fantasy Tip: Foreman has received at least 10 touches in each of the last two games and could receive a bigger role as the season goes on. He probably should not be in starting lineups at this point but should be owned in all leagues.

Texans | Lamar Miller rushes for 56 yards

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 14:25:31 -0700

Houston Texans RB Lamar Miller rushed for 56 yards on 14 carries against the New England Patriots in Week 3.

Fantasy Tip: Miller has been fairly consistent over the first three weeks of the season but has not rushed for more than 65 yards in any of the games. He should continue to receive most of the carries at this time but may only be a flex option against the Tennessee Titans.

Texans | Deshaun Watson throws for over 300 yards

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 14:24:54 -0700

Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson went 22-for-33 for 301 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions against the New England Patriots in Week 3. He also rushed for 41 yards on eight carries during the game.

Fantasy Tip: Watson had an outstanding game after being held to 125 yards in his first NFL start and should be the team's starting quarterback for the rest of the season. He should be owned in all fantasy leagues but probably should stay on the bench next week against a solid Tennessee Titans defense.

Texans | Alfred Blue unlikely to play

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 06:26:48 -0700

Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue (ankle) is unlikely to play in Week 3's game against the New England Patriots, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Blue was listed as questionable on the injury report and was a limited practice participant throughout the week. It was revealed a few days ago that once Blue returns to action, his primary role will be on special teams, so he possesses little fantasy value in any format. Lamar Miller and D'Onta Foreman will see the bulk of the carries versus the Patriots.

Texans | No hiding DeAndre Hopkins

Fri, 22 Sep 2017 21:54:30 -0700

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins has been facing double-teams all season because "everyone in the league knows we're going to throw the ball to Hopkins," head coach Bill O'Brien said.

Fantasy Tip: Hopkins has had trouble breaking loose for big plays, but with 29 targets and 14 receptions through two games, he can still be deployed as a WR2 against the Patriots in Week 3.

Texans | Chemistry growing for DeAndre Hopkins

Thu, 21 Sep 2017 18:55:53 -0700

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins said the chemistry between he and QB Deshaun Watson is improving every day. "We're growing, we're getting to know each other, and it's getting better, I can say," Hopkins said.

Fantasy Tip: In their first full game together, Watson targeted Hopkins 13 times. The big plays haven't been there, but the huge workload should make him a low-end WR2, especially in PPR formats, against the Patriots in Week 3.
