Texans | Five grabs for Will Fuller

Sun, 17 Dec 2017 19:47:00 -0800

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller posted five receptions for 44 yards on his five targets in Week 15 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Tip: Fuller had some huge games earlier in the season, but that was when working with DeShaun Foster. Since Foster went down, and then Fuller returned from an injury himself, he has been very ordinary. Treat him as a WR4 or flex fantasy option in deeper leagues heading into Week 16. He hasn't been nearly as prolific with Tom Savage or T.J. Yates under center.

Texans | Alfred Blue totals 12 rushes in loss

Sun, 17 Dec 2017 19:46:02 -0800

Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue rushed 12 times for 55 yards in Week 15 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Tip: Blue saw an increase in touches with the game out of hand and Lamar Miller struggling. It's uncertain if the duo will split carries into Week 16, but he might be worth a look as a low-end RB4 in deeper leagues if you're desperate for running back help.

Texans | Lamar Miller doesn't do much in loss

Sun, 17 Dec 2017 19:45:32 -0800

Houston Texans RB Lamar Miller rushed nine times for 32 yards in Week 15 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and he added two receptions for just one yard on his four targets.

Fantasy Tip: Miller has failed to find the end zone in each of the past three outings and he has just 93 total yards from scrimmage over the past two games. He is letting his fantasy owners down when it matters most.

Texans | T.J. Yates struggles in road loss

Sun, 17 Dec 2017 19:45:01 -0800

Houston Texans QB T.J. Yates completed just 12 of his 31 pass attempts for 128 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Week 15 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Tip: It was a disastrous start for Yates against a very good Jacksonville defense. He is likely to continue starting down the stretch, but he isn't even worth using as a low-end QB2 in deeper leagues using two starting signal callers at this rate.

Texans | DeAndre Hopkins active for Week 15

Sun, 17 Dec 2017 08:59:56 -0800

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins (toe) is active for Week 15's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Tip: Despite a somewhat challenging matchup, along with the fact that T.J. Yates will be Houston's starting quarterback for the rest of the season, Hopkins should be viewed as a high-end WR2 in all fantasy formats this week. He is coming off an 11-catch, 149-yard performance against the San Francisco 49ers where he was targeted 16 times and reached the end zone twice.

Houston Texans QB Tom Savage (concussion) is still going through the concussion protocol and likely will not play again this season, according to sources.
