Fantasy Tip: Rodgers does have a rough matchup, but he could still be worth a start on FantasyScore with the usual high-octane offense and an NFC North division title on the line.

Green Bay Packers CB Davon House (shoulder) did not practice Thursday, Dec. 25. OG T.J. Lang (ankle), LB Clay Matthews (biceps), LB Mike Neal (abdomen) and OG Josh Sitton (toe) were limited. The Packers did not practice Thursday, so this is an estimation.

Fantasy Tip: It is highly unlikely Rodgers doesn't suit up for Week 17. While the game should be high scoring, the Lions have limited opponents. Detroit is allowing just 16.8 points against per game and 295.9 yards per game this season, which both rank as the second best marks in the league.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers may be limited the rest of the week to allow his injuries to heal but should be ready to play in Week 17. Rodgers ($5,555) should be considered a risky option this week on FantasyScore because he will be facing a Detroit Lions defense that has allowed the third fewest points to quarterback this season.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers likely will try everything he can be play in Week 17 since it affects the team's playoff position. Rodgers will be facing a tough Detroit Lions pass defense this week if he plays and could be a risky option to use on FantasyScore because of the injury and matchup.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (calf, flu) continues to think he'll be ready for Week 17 against the Detroit Lions, and he said he'll be ready if the team changes the game plan because of his calf injury. Rodgers took part in practice Tuesday, Dec. 23, with the session consisting of mostly individual drills at half-speed. Rodgers looked good, but he wasn't required to run at all. "I'm feeling good, except for the sickness and the calf thing," Rodgers joked. "Other than that, I'm great."
Fantasy Tip: In what could be a very tough divisional battle against the Lions in Week 17, Rodgers may not be the best quarterback option at FantasyScore for $5,555. If he's limited from scrambling and picking up yards with his legs, that's just another reason to be skeptical of his value for this weekend.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy is expected to be fine for the Week 17 regular season finale against the Detroit Lions. He managed just 36 yards on 11 carries while losing a fumble in the first meeting in Week 3. However, he has been much better lately, running for 69 or more yards in six straight games while scoring at least touchdown in five of the past six. He remains a must-start in all fantasy formats.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (calf) was able to do some work Monday, Dec. 22, and is sore, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. McCarthy said the team will see what Rodgers will be able to do Tuesday, Dec. 23.
Fantasy Tip: Rodgers could be limited during practice this week to help rest his injury. Rodgers should be considered a No. 1 quarterback on FantasyScore, owners may want to lower their expectations since the Detroit Lions have a very good pass defense.

Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (calf) was fighting the flu days before he pulled a calf muscle in Week 16 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. "I battled the flu the last couple of days pretty bad, and that's why I was surprised I hurt my calf because I hydrated like no other," Rodgers said. "I had a great hydration test this week and was drinking a ton of water before the game. Unfortunately the calf kind of gave up on me there." Rodgers thinks he'll be fine to play in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions.
Fantasy Tip: Rodgers' injury shouldn't prevent you from playing him at FantasyScore in the season finale, but the Lions defense might. Rodgers threw for under 200 yards and just one touchdown in the first matchup with Detroit earlier this year.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (calf) tweaked his calf in the Week 16 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but said Sunday, Dec. 21, that he expects to play in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions. "I'll be OK for next week," Rodgers said.
Fantasy Tip: While he is likely to play in the NFC North Division battle, he is still a risky play depending on the weather in Green Bay, as well as the fact he is facing a difficult passing defense from the Lions.
