Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers will meet the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8 on the road. The Falcons rank last in the NFC in pass defense, allowing 294.3 yards per game. The Falcons have given up 15 pass touchdowns, third-most in the league.
Fantasy Tip: Rodgers has struggled by his standards, especially lately, but he remains a must-start fantasy option for this ultra-favorable matchup in the ATL.

Fantasy Tip: Montgomery's versatility has been in full display the last couple weeks and he's proven his worth. He has suddenly become a big fantasy weapon and will ride his success into WR2 territory in what could be a shootout with the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Tip: Cobb has seen a great influx of targets the last three weeks. He has been targeted 37 times in that span, resulting in 256 yards and two touchdowns. He is undoubtedly the Packers' possession receiver and should be viewed as a low-end WR1 to high-end WR2 in a possible aerial assault versus the Atlanta Falcons. This is assuming Cobb is healthy and doesn't regress in practice, of course.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson could play a meaningful role with Ty Montgomery forced to leave his receiver post and play running back with newcomer Knile Davis. He probably isn't worth starting against the Atlanta Falcons, though.

Fantasy Tip: Cook hasn't played since Week 3, and Richard Rodgers has done little to warrant starter consideration. Green Bay's tight end situation is any easy one to avoid, at least until Cook returns.

Green Bay Packers CB Damarious Randall (groin) underwent surgery over the weekend, according to a source. He is not expected to miss the rest of the season, but he will be sidelined for a few more games.

Green Bay Packers RB Don Jackson (hand) may not be available for the team's Week 8 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach Mike McCarthy indicated it was "too early to tell" about Jackson's status. Jackson said an X-ray taken during the Thursday game "didn't look bad," but he did not return.
Fantasy Tip: Green Bay threw a ton against the Chicago Bears, and no doubt part of that was the absence of Jackson. The only healthy back in Green Bay right now is Knile Davis, who was acquired earlier in the week. Keep an eye on the situation, including the health of James Starks, leading up to the game against the Falcons.

Fantasy Tip: Nelson was targeted on a couple of patented deep balls off play-action, but a four-target effort on a night in which Aaron Rodgers attempted 56 passes is definitely cause for concern for his owners. The touchdowns that carried Nelson's value through the first four weeks of the season have dried up, and he has only 10 catches for 115 yards on 24 targets over the last three games. He's likely to draw shadow coverage in Week 8 from Atlanta Falcons top corner Desmond Trufant, which could mean he will turn in another disappointing effort next week.

Green Bay Packers WR Ty Montgomery delivered his second straight high-volume performance as a part-time receiver and part-time running back in a Week 7 victory over the Chicago Bears, finishing with 10 catches for 66 yards while adding nine carries for 60 yards.
Fantasy Tip: Montgomery played some running back in high school and college, so his added responsibilities arenít foreign to him. With that said, he looks like a natural coming out of the backfield and may be carving himself out a long-term niche as a Swiss Army knife for this offense. At this point, it wouldn't be shocking if he remains in a similar role once James Starks is able to return in a few weeks. He's already earned must-start status and should expect another 15 to 20 touches next week versus the Atlanta Falcons.
