Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (hamstring) is expected to be available for the team's NFC Championship game against the Atlanta Falcons barring any setbacks during pre-game workouts, according to a league source.
Fantasy Tip: Unlike Jordy Nelson or Davante Adams, Allison has no history of playing hurt in the NFL, and if those two are up he could find himself in a marginalized role. The team could also scratch Allison rather than risk activating three injured wideouts that could suffer setbacks. Unless Allison is active in lieu of Nelson or Adams it's hard to advocate him as anything more than a desperation play.

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (ankle) will likely be available to play against the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship game Sunday, Jan. 22, barring a setback during pre-game warmups, according to a league source.
Fantasy Tip: Adams played through an ankle injury for much of 2015, and the results weren't pretty. He said earlier in the week he wouldn't be "playing like last year," but he relies on an excellent release to compensate for less-than-ideal speed. And an ankle injury on turf isn't the most stable situation. Still, if he takes the field Adams could be a risky third receiver.

Fantasy Tip: Nelson's return should be a boost for Green Bay's passing game, though clearly there's risk in slotting him into your lineup given the chance for him to aggravate the injury. That being said, given the other receivers are dealing with leg injuries, Nelson might be the safest Packers receiver this side of Randall Cobb. If he's active he becomes a risk/reward WR2.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has been under duress on 28.8 percent of his drop-backs this season but has posted a 71.8 QBR when getting pressured, the second-best mark this season and fourth-best since 2009.
Fantasy Tip: Rodgers has been brilliant for most of the second half of the season and is playing at a level few, if any, have approached at the moment. He has done a wonderful job recently of combining excellent pocket presence with sound decision-making outside the pocket, posting a 24:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio over his last nine outings. He'll need to continue playing at a high level Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, as most of his usual supporting cast is hurting.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers will be ready to play against the Atlanta Falcons and will be a big factor in the game. He has played very well during the team's winning streak and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Green Bay Packers RB James Starks (concussion) and C JC Tretter (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 20, and have been ruled out for the NFC Championship game. FS Morgan Burnett (quadriceps) and CB Quinten Rollins (concussion, neck) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. LB Jayrone Elliott (hand), WR Jeff Janis (quadriceps), OG T.J. Lang (foot), LB Clay Matthews (shoulder), LB Julius Peppers (non-injury) and LB Nick Perry (hand) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Fantasy Tip: Crosby appears to have recovered from his illness and should be a solid option for owners because it may be a high scoring game.

Fantasy Tip: Nelson likely will be a game-time decision because of the injury, so owners will need to check on the inactive list to see if Nelson will play. He will be a risky option for owners and may only be a No. 2 receiver if he does play.

Fantasy Tip: Allison has not practiced at all this week and may be a game-time decision for the game. Allison has been a solid contributor in the passing game over the last few weeks and could be a flex option for owners if he plays.
Fri, 20 Jan 2017 13:25:15 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Adams probably will be a game-time decision for the game, so owners will need to keep an eye on the situation over the next few days. He will be a risky option for owners but can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues if he is active.

Fantasy Tip: With Rodgers playing as well as he ever has and Green Bay relying on receiver-turned-running back Ty Montgomery to carry the rushing attack, this isn't overly surprising. The Packers may not have much choice but to continue relying on the passing game despite a ton of injuries at receiver this weekend, as the Atlanta Falcons boast the league's highest-scoring offense and the Packers are decimated in the secondary.
