Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy was criticized by head coach Mike McCarthy during a press conference Monday, Sept. 22, for missing opportunities to reach the second level on runs during the team's Week 3 game. "Eddie needs to play better," McCarthy said. "I'm not going to do this anymore. I don't correct individuals in the media. We've seen the film, corrections have been made, our running game wasn't nearly what it needed to be. Not even close."
Fantasy Tip: Lacy should continue to have running lanes with most defenses choosing to drop their safeties back to slow down Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay passing attack, and his inability to make opponents pay has had a negative impact on the entire offense. That being said, Lacy will have a golden opportunity to jump start his season in Week 4 against a Chicago defense that ranks 31st at stopping the run after two games. If his price tag at FantasyScore slips because of his struggles, Lacy could make a decent play.

Fantasy Tip: Davante Adams has seven catches for 61 yards in the last two weeks, and he could overtake Boykin for the slot receiver role. Boykin has little fantasy value right now, but Adams could elevate himself into the waiver wire target list. Adams could be a cheap flex option on FantasyScore in the interim.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers is in the midst of a rough patch, but the entire offense isn't clicking right now. He remains a must-start on a weekly basis.

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy had five of 11 carries Sunday, Sept. 21, go for no gain or negative yardage. Lacy acknowledged defenses may know how to contain him with a year's worth of tape on him now. "That could be it," Lacy said. "But no matter what it is, it's still my job. I'm still supposed to be able to run the ball in and make sure - not every run is going to be 10 yards - but make sure we get something positive."
Fantasy Tip: Lacy can't continue to play this poorly and could break out any given week. Check his price tag on FantasyScore for Week 4, and he could be a good value play.

OT Bryan Bulaga (knee) and CB Casey Hayward (gluteus) are questionable, while FS Micah Hyde (knee) is probable. Jones and Mulumba didn't practice Friday, Sept. 19. Fantasy Tip: That is an unusually high number of targets in two weeks, and it'll likely come down, but it's another reminder of how valuable Nelson is in PPR leagues. He'll cost $7,800 at FantasyScore this week, but he could be worth the high cost against the Detroit Lions.
