Green Bay Packers WR Ty Montgomery (ankle) said he does not have a definite timetable for his return to practice but does say that his ankle feels great. Montgomery will have to compete for a roster spot when he is activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list.
Fantasy Tip: Montgomery said being placed on the PUP list was a precautionary move, so there is a chance that he will be able to practice soon. He has not done much in the offense over the last few years and should not be selected in fantasy drafts if he makes the team.

Green Bay Packers CB Quinten Rollins (thumb) participated in practice Wednesday, July 27, and said his dislocated thumb is fully healed. Rollins missed most of the offseason workouts because of the injury.

Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb was at practice Tuesday, July 26, and was apparently bitten by Pokemon GO craziness in the offseason. "As a receiver group, we consider ourselves playing Pokemon right now. We're trying to catch them all. We're going to go out there and try making as many plays as we can," Cobb said.
Fantasy Tip: Fantasy owners hope Cobb can be like a Vaporeon or a Snorlax with a CP of 1,500 or more tearing up opposing gyms. For those who aren't millennials or playing the game with their kids, it means fantasy owners hope Cobb can rack up 100 or more receptions, 10 touchdowns and continue to be a WR1/2 in all formats.

Green Bay Packers TE Jared Cook (foot) does not have a timetable for a return from foot surgery, although a league source said Tuesday, July 26, that he might be on track to return by the second week of preseason.
Fantasy Tip: Cook is behind Richard Rodgers on the depth chart, and not expected to be a fantasy target for most owners unless Rodgers suffers some sort of a long-term injury.

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy was a bit slimmer on the first day of training camp Tuesday, July 26, then he was for organized team activities (OTAs). He went back to P90X trainer Tony Horton for a second time this offseason, getting down to an estimated 240 pounds according to beat writer Pete Dougherty.
Fantasy Tip: Lacy was a huge disappointment in 2015, as his conditioning was called into question, and many likely will have a sour taste in their mouth as a result. He has first-round fantasy ability, but the fact he is working on his weight again is not a great sign. When he is healthy and in tip-top shape, he is a great fantasy option, especially in leagues which reward points per reception (PPR). However, make sure to have plenty of depth at the position.

Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers WR Jordy Nelson (knee) said he was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list because he tweaked his other knee, and not his knee that required season-ending surgery last year. Nelson added Week 1 is not in jeopardy, but he does not know when he will be ready to practice during training camp.
Fantasy Tip: On the surface, this sounds like a positive, but if Nelson is limited during training camp because both knees aren't 100%, it's a concern. Over the long haul, Nelson projects to finish as a No. 1 fantasy wide receiver, but he might not be the safest option in the first two rounds of drafts, either. The upside and floor are both there, but it's likely ill-advised to expect a 2014 output from the 31-year-old veteran. This is a situation to monitor over the coming weeks.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers remains an elite fantasy quarterback worth selecting as one of the first signal callers in drafts. It's likely not worth reading too much into his weight, but a commitment to health and being at his best entering his age-32 season is encouraging for his likelihood to live up to expectations in 2016.

Fantasy Tip: The fifth-round pick has a ways to go before he enters the WR5 mix in fantasy, but it's a good start.

Green Bay Packers WR Jordy Nelson (knee) was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list Tuesday, July 26. Head coach Mike McCarthy said there are no long-term concerns with Nelson, and he's likely to be activated at some point in training camp.
Fantasy Tip: Now 31, questions linger if he can return to the 98-1,519-13 monster he was in 2014. He's still in the WR1 category, but there are a few players with more upside and stability.

Fantasy Tip: Montgomery's ankle has reportedly been improving, so he shouldn't last on the PUP list long. The Packers are deep at the receiver position, but he is in the mix for a No. 3 or 4 job. On most teams, that's not terribly attractive from a fantasy perspective, but with Aaron Rodgers at the helm he is worth a look in the later rounds in most fantasy leagues.
