Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (calf) was able to do some work Monday, Dec. 22, and is sore, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. McCarthy said the team will see what Rodgers will be able to do Tuesday, Dec. 23.
Fantasy Tip: Rodgers could be limited during practice this week to help rest his injury. Rodgers should be considered a No. 1 quarterback on FantasyScore, owners may want to lower their expectations since the Detroit Lions have a very good pass defense.

Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (calf) was fighting the flu days before he pulled a calf muscle in Week 16 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. "I battled the flu the last couple of days pretty bad, and that's why I was surprised I hurt my calf because I hydrated like no other," Rodgers said. "I had a great hydration test this week and was drinking a ton of water before the game. Unfortunately the calf kind of gave up on me there." Rodgers thinks he'll be fine to play in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions.
Fantasy Tip: Rodgers' injury shouldn't prevent you from playing him at FantasyScore in the season finale, but the Lions defense might. Rodgers threw for under 200 yards and just one touchdown in the first matchup with Detroit earlier this year.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (calf) tweaked his calf in the Week 16 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but said Sunday, Dec. 21, that he expects to play in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions. "I'll be OK for next week," Rodgers said.
Fantasy Tip: While he is likely to play in the NFC North Division battle, he is still a risky play depending on the weather in Green Bay, as well as the fact he is facing a difficult passing defense from the Lions.

Green Bay Packers OT Bryan Bulaga (head) still has to pass a few steps in the league's concussion protocol before being able to play in Week 16. "I still need to go through a few more steps in testing and seeing the independent neurologist check that we have to do," Bulaga said Friday, Dec. 19.

Green Bay Packers CB Davon House (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 16. OT Bryan Bulaga (concussion) is listed as questionable, while OG T.J. Lang (ankle), LB Clay Matthews (biceps), DE Mike Neal (abdomen), LB Nick Perry (shoulder) and OG Josh Sitton (toe) are listed as probable. House did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 19, while the other players were limited during practice. This is an estimation since the team did not practice Friday.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy should be able to play this week even though he is having problems with his eye. Lacy has rushed for one touchdown in four of his last five games and has posted solid rushing yards on all five of the games. Lacy costs $7,500 on FantasyScore and should be a solid option if he does not have any problems with his eye.

Updating previous reports, Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (eye) said he wasn't able to read a teammate's nameplate a few feet away in the locker room Thursday, Dec. 18. Lacy said he won't wear goggles in Week 16, but he hopes to be able to put his contact lens in his irritated eye.
Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($7,500; 15.0% of your cap) should be able to play this week. However, if he can't restore the vision in his left eye, there could be issues. There are options on FantasyScore with more upside this week.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy is expected to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week, and he makes for an acceptable FantasyScore option for $7,500. The Bucs allow just under 20 fantasy points to running backs per week this season.
