Packers | Martellus Bennett doesn't do much

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 19:30:43 -0700

Green Bay Packers TE Martellus Bennett posted three receptions for just 12 yards on four targets in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Tip: Bennett took a bit of a back seat to Lance Kendricks in this one, as he was outperformed by his fellow tight end and Kendricks even found the end zone. However, Bennett is still the tight end to target for fantasy purposes going forward. The Packers host the Bears in Week 4 on Thursday night.

Packers | Lance Kendricks resurfaces

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 19:30:00 -0700

Green Bay Packers TE Lance Kendricks posted a pair of catches for 52 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Tip: The former University of Wisconsin standout recorded his first touchdown in a Packers uniform, and he might never have had an easier one. He was wide open in the right corner of the end zone on a play-action fake in the first quarter. Despite the score he has limited fantasy appeal as long as Martellus Bennett is also in the mix.

Packers | Jordy Nelson scores pair of TDs

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 19:29:26 -0700

Green Bay Packers WR Jordy Nelson racked up six receptions for 52 yards and a pair of scores in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was targeted nine times.

Fantasy Tip: Nelson left the Week 2 game against the Atlanta Falcons with a quadriceps injury, but he didn't appear to be hampered by the issue in this one. He'll look to keep up his scoring ways on Thursday Night Football in Week 4 against the visiting Chicago Bears.

Packers | Three grabs for Davante Adams

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 19:28:41 -0700

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams posted three receptions for 60 yards on six targets in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Tip: Adams shook free for a 41-yard big gainer on one play, but he was mostly invisible. It was disappointing considering the team was without Randall Cobb, so a slight bump in targets was expected. He remains a WR3 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 4 against the Chicago Bears on Thursday.

Packers | Geronimo Allison drops in for 122 yards

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 19:27:57 -0700

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison finished with six receptions for 122 yards on eight targets in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Tip: Allison had a 72-yard reception in overtime to set up the game-winning field. He stepped up his game with Randall Cobb inactive due to injury. If Cobb is forced to miss further time Allison might be a decent short-term option. The Packers host the Bears in Week 4 on Thursday Night Football.

Packers | Ty Montgomery struggles in Week 3

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 19:27:23 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Ty Montgomery rushed 12 times for 35 yards in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals and he added eight receptions for just 15 yards on 12 targets. He left briefly due to a dislocated finger, but returned later after having it popped back into place.

Fantasy Tip: The Packers were adamant on getting Montgomery the ball, and the Bengals were adamant about making someone else beat them early on. He'll look for much better results in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers throws for 313 yards

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 19:24:24 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 28 of his 42 pass attempts for 313 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in the Week 3 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, and he ran four times for 23 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers and the Packers fell behind at home, and they needed a big comeback and overtime to finally put away the Bengals. Fantasy owners liked seeing the game go to OT, as Rodgers hooked up with Geronimo Allison on a 72-yard pass play to set up the game-winning field goal. More importantly, it pushed him over the 300-yard threshold for point bonuses. He and his teammates have just a few days to prepare for Week 4 against the Chicago Bears on Thursday night.

Packers | Jordy Nelson expected to play

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 05:26:54 -0700

Green Bay Packers WR Jordy Nelson (quadriceps) is expected to play in Week 3's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Tip: Nelson was a full participant in practice throughout the week but was listed as questionable on the injury report due to a strained quadriceps. He should be viewed as a WR1 in all formats, given a favorable matchup against Cincinnati and the likelihood that Randall Cobb (chest) will be held out of action this afternoon.

WR Jordy Nelson (quadriceps) fully practiced, while OT Bryan Bulaga (ankle) was limited, and both are listed as questionable. DT Montravius Adams (foot), LB Ahmad Brooks (concussion) and OG Jahri Evans (groin) were full participants and are no longer on the injury report.

Packers | Jordy Nelson fully practices, questionable

Fri, 22 Sep 2017 13:40:34 -0700

Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers WR Jordy Nelson (quadriceps) fully practiced Friday, Sept. 22, and is officially listed as questionable.

Fantasy Tip: Nelson is expected to give it a whirl, but injuries of this nature are notorious for being aggravated. Consider him a moderate risk with his usual reward offerings as a WR1. Nelson could see more with with Randall Cobb listed as doubtful, too.
