Lions | Joique Bell limited in practice

Wed, 24 Dec 2014 12:56:12 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Joique Bell (Achilles') was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 24. Offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi said the injury shouldn't affect his status for Week 17.

Fantasy Tip: Even if he does play, Bell is probably best left off FantasyScore lineups with a tough draw against the Green Bay Packers, who have allowed only eight rushing touchdowns to running backs through 15 games.

Lions | Calvin Johnson sitting out

Wed, 24 Dec 2014 11:38:13 -0800

Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (undisclosed) is not participating during practice Wednesday, Dec. 24.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson probably is just receiving a day off, but owners should look for an update later in the day. Johnson has posted at least 100 yards in three of the last four games and should be a No. 1 wide receiver option for owners on FantasyScore.

Tue, 23 Dec 2014 17:35:43 -0800

Detroit Lions TE Eric Ebron has been improving as a blocker and progressing as an overall player, head coach Jim Caldwell said Monday, Dec. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Ebron is a special athlete, but his offensive production has left a lot to be desired in his rookie year. However, his head coach seems to be happy with Ebron's development, and he could be a sneaky sleeper later in drafts next year.
