Detroit Lions DT Nick Fairley (knee) is making progress in his rehab from knee surgery, but his status for Week 17 is uncertain, according to head coach Jim Caldwell. Caldwell also said Fairley could be a candidate for the Reserve/Injured list.

Fantasy Tip: Tate continues to add to this career high, as he now sits at 1,224 receiving yards on the season. He and Calvin Johnson are the first pair of Detroit receivers to have 1,000 yards in the same season since 2006. Tate is a solid WR2 or flex play in Week 17 against the Green Bay Packers. He had five receptions for 51 yards in the first matchup with the Pack in Week 3.

Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (ankle) hauled in six receptions for a game-high 103 yards in Week 16 against the Chicago Bears, as he went over 1,000 yards receiving for the fifth straight season, and sixth time in eight NFL seasons. He left the game briefly due to an ankle issue, but was able to return.
Fantasy Tip: The Lions have a pair of 1,000 receivers for the first time since the 2006 season, as Megatron joins Golden Tate in the club. Johnson walked off his injury on the sidelines and should be fine for Week 17 against the Green Bay Packers.

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford completed 22 of 39 passes for 243 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in the Week 16 game against the Chicago Bears. He hit the 4,000-yard mark for the fourth consecutive season.
Fantasy Tip: Stafford's production has really dipped over the past two games, posting a total of 396 passing yards with one touchdown and two interceptions, while his completion percentage is 60.7 or worse. He'll face the Green Bay Packers in Week 17 in a key NFC North battle for the division title. In Week 3 he completed 22 of 34 passes for 246 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions at home against the Packers.

Detroit Lions DT Nick Fairley (knee) has been ruled out for Week 16 against the Chicago Bears. CB Mohammed Seisay (hamstring) is questionable, while S Don Carey (ankle), DE George Johnson (illness), DT C.J. M. Mosley (non-injury), LB Ashlee Palmer (quadriceps) and OG Rob Sims (illness) are probable. Fairley didn't practice Friday, Dec. 19. Seisay was limited, while the others practiced in full.
