Fantasy Tip: After getting in a limited session on Wednesday, it looks like Riddick will be on his way back from a two-game absence. Prior to landing on the sidelines, the 25-year-old tailback was the biggest piece of Detroit's running game, and he should resume his busy role against the Texans. His return might also hinder Golden Tate, who has stepped up big time the past two weeks in Riddick's absence. Zach Zenner and Justin Forsett also head back to the end of the line if Dwayne Washington suits up as well.

Detroit Lions OL Riley Reiff (illness) and Corey Robinson (ankle), LB DeAndre Levy (knee, quad) and CB Darius Slay (hamstring) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 27. CB Nevin Lawson (foot) and DT Haloti Ngata (shoulder) were limited participants, while OL Joe Dahl (illness) and RB Dwayne Washington (ankle) were each able to practice in full.

Fantasy Tip: Jones scared owners a bit when he mysteriously was not present at practice on Wednesday, but not only did he return one day later, it turned out it wasn't even injury-related. Regardless, Jones has a solid opportunity to return his usual WR2 value this weekend opposite Houston. He's coming off a week that saw him produce his highest yardage total since Week 3.

Fantasy Tip: After missing the last three games, it looks like Ebron will be making his return in Week 8. He participated in practice on a limited basis on Wednesday, so today's upgrade certainly solidifies that. However, with the recent emergence of Golden Tate, not to mention the likely return of Theo Riddick, owners might want to take a wait-and-see approach with Ebron as he eases back into his weekly role. That is, unless there's no one else to use at tight end this week.

Fantasy Tip: Ebron is not played since Week 4 because of his injuries but likely will be in the starting lineup this week. He was consistent in the four games he has played this season and could be a low-end No. 1 tight end if he is active.

Fantasy Tip: Washington may serve as the No. 2 running back if he is active for the game and would see limited touches during the game. He could be a flex option in deeper leagues but probably can be avoided in most leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick has missed the last two games because of the injury but probably will regain his starting job in Week 8. He can be a No. 2 running back or a flex option if he is active.

Fantasy Tip: Ebron hasn't played since Oct. 2, and he could very well be limited if he is active for Week 8. The Houston Texans have been stingy against tight ends this year, too. Wait a week before starting Ebron again.

Fantasy Tip: Washington seems to be ready for Week 8 after missing the last three weeks. His fantasy value is still minimal, though, especially if Theo Riddick returns. It's best to wait at least a week to see how Washington does before plugging him into starting lineups right away.

Fantasy Tip: Pay close attention to Riddick's progress this week since he's missed the last two games with the ankle ailment. He should be started as an RB2 in PPR leagues if he is active. He may not run as much if he does play with Dwayne Washington likely back.

Fantasy Tip: Specifics of Jones' absence were not disclosed, but he doesn't seem to be injured. He hasn't produced as much in recent weeks with the emergence of Golden Tate, but he's a viable WR2 even in a less than favorable tilt with the Houston Texans.
