Fantasy Tip: Golladay has an intriguing combination of size and speed, but he is a project. You can file the name away, but even in keeper formats, he is a bit of a reach.

Fantasy Tip: Ebron has steadily improved over his first three years in Detroit, but he has still been a bit of a disappointment, especially considering Odell Beckham Jr. and Aaron Donald went two and three picks after him, respectively. Miami (Fla.) TE David Njoku has been a popular mock draft selection for the Lions this spring, perhaps in part because second-year position coach Al Golden recruited him to the Hurricanes.

Detroit Lions WR Jace Billingsley has emerged as a player to watch this spring and WR Golden Tate appears to be one of his biggest supporters, according to the Detroit Free Press' Dave Birkett. "He reminds me a lot of a younger me. Just very, very shifty. I think he's got some running back in him. … I'm excited for him to get his opportunity in practice and going into the preseason, and he made this team for a reason. I hope to see him out there. I trust him. I think he's a heck of a player," Tate said.

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (finger) said his injured middle finger didn't require surgery, just rest, and it started to feel better in February. In the 12 games before the injury, Stafford completed 67.2 percent of his passes with 21 touchdowns and five interceptions. Over the final five games, including a playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks, he completed 59.6 percent with three touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Fantasy Tip: Stafford looked like a rejuvenated quarterback before the injury, and with his hot stretch at the end of 2015, there's enough of a sample size to give his performance merit. He's a midrange QB1 option in fantasy.

Detroit Lions RB Ameer Abdullah (foot) began the team's offseason program on time Monday, April 17. It's the first time he will go through this after missing last year's offseason work while rehabbing from shoulder labrum surgery. He's still "getting there" in regards to his injury, but added that he's "at a really good spot."
Fantasy Tip: Entering his third season, Abdullah has already been through an assortment of injuries, missing all but two games a year ago. Before going down, he showed some glimpses of what made him a second-round draft pick in 2015, rushing for 101 yards on 18 carries in just six quarters before tearing a ligament in his left foot. With Theo Riddick still around getting a good chunk of work out of the backfield, it's hard to trust Abdullah as a fantasy option going into 2017.
