Broncos | Trevor Siemian takes part in practice

Wed, 18 Oct 2017 16:22:45 -0700

Denver Broncos QB Trevor Siemian (shoulder) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Siemian threw for more than 300 yards for the first time in Week 6 and should be fine against the Los Angeles Chargers. He has thrown eight touchdowns and six interceptions so far this season and should not be a starting option for owners this week.

Broncos | Jamaal Charles receives day off

Wed, 18 Oct 2017 16:06:54 -0700

Denver Broncos RB Jamaal Charles (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Charles should return to practice later this week and will have his usual role against the Los Angeles Chargers. He has only received 10 carries over the last two games and probably can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas held out of practice

Wed, 18 Oct 2017 11:48:10 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (leg) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas appeared to leave the game multiple times in Sunday night's loss to the New York Giants but returned each time to post season highs in catches (10) and receiving yards (133). With Emmanuel Sanders expected to miss multiple weeks with an ankle injury, Thomas is in prime position to attract 10-plus targets in his absence, making him a very solid WR2 candidate in most leagues.

Broncos | Trevor Siemian not seriously injured

Mon, 16 Oct 2017 12:34:02 -0700

Denver Broncos QB Trevor Siemian (shoulder) suffered a minor shoulder sprain in Week 6 but is expected to play in Week 7, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Siemian's 376 yards were impressive and currently lead all quarterbacks for Week 6, but highly questionable reads and subsequent throws doomed the Broncos Sunday night. Siemian remains a backup fantasy quarterback going forward.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders will miss Week 7

Mon, 16 Oct 2017 11:57:23 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) will be sidelined next week with a sprained ankle, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: That's more on the side of good news since the hit on Sanders looked a good deal worse Sunday night. With Sanders out, Bennie Fowler will assume the No. 2 wide receiver position opposite Demaryius Thomas. Fowler is a deep sleeper in standard leagues, but starting him versus the Los Angeles Chargers might be getting too cute.
