Broncos | Brandon McManus busy in road win

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 15:04:00 -0700

Denver Broncos PK Brandon McManus booted three field goals (38, 35, 28) while adding an extra point in Week 3 at Buffalo.

Fantasy Tip: The double-digit performance was the first of the season for McManus, who entered just 1-for-3 on field-goal attempts with a total of 12 points through the first two games. Despite his early struggles he is a top fantasy option heading into Week 4 against the Raiders.

Broncos | Bennie Fowler back with four grabs

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 15:03:31 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Bennie Fowler posted four grabs for 55 yards on seven targets in Week 3 at Buffalo.

Fantasy Tip: Fowler left the Week 2 game after a hard hit, landing him in the concussion protocol. He didn't show any ill effects of his previous injury, as his catches, yardage and targets were all season highs. Still, he is third in the pecking order among the wideouts and only has fantasy appeal if Demaryius Thomas or Emmanuel Sanders go down to injury.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders targeted 15 times

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 15:03:04 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders racked up seven receptions for 75 yards on 15 targets in Week 3 at Buffalo.

Fantasy Tip: Trevor Siemian looked the way of Sanders early and often, perhaps too often. A couple of times he tried to force it into the veteran and had miscues. It's nice for fantasy owners to see Sanders getting so many looks. He remains a solid WR2 in all fantasy leagues heading into Week 4 against the visiting Raiders.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas leads way in loss

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 15:02:31 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas posted six receptions for a game-high 98 yards on nine targets in Week 3 at Buffalo.

Fantasy Tip: Fantasy owners who get a bonus at 100 yards might complain a little, but it was a solid day for Thomas, especially in PPR formats. He remains a solid WR2 in all formats heading into Week 4 against the Raiders.

Broncos | C.J. Anderson struggles in road loss

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 15:02:02 -0700

Denver Broncos RB C.J. Anderson rushed eight times for 36 yards in the Week 3 loss in Buffalo and he added two catches for seven yards on his only two targets.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson was a bust for his fantasy owners after a couple of solid performances to open the season. He'll look to get back on track in Week 4 against the Raiders.

Broncos | Jamaal Charles runs for 56 yards, TD

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 15:01:33 -0700

Denver Broncos RB Jamaal Charles rushed nine times for a game-high 56 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 in Buffalo and he had one catch for just one yard.

Fantasy Tip: Charles picked up the slack with C.J. Anderson mostly contained. He continues to take advantage of the absence of Devontae Booker, looking like the Charles of old. He isn't quite a fantasy stud, but he can be trusted as an RB3 or flex play in most formats heading into Week 4 against the Raiders.

Broncos | Trevor Siemian takes step back

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 15:01:05 -0700

Denver Broncos QB Trevor Siemian completed 24 of his 40 pass attempts for 259 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 3 at Buffalo. He also ran three times for 12 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Siemian made some critical mistakes and didn't look nearly as comfortable on the road as he did in a scintillating performance in Week 2 against Dallas. He'll be back home in Week 4 against Oakland in a key AFC West battle.

Fantasy Tip: Fowler was listed as questionable on the injury report and practiced on a limited basis Friday, Sept. 22. He's worthy of consideration as a flex option in deeper fantasy leagues.

Broncos | C.J. Anderson ready to sustain success

Sat, 23 Sep 2017 21:18:30 -0700

Denver Broncos RB C.J. Anderson said he is in the best shape of his life thanks to an improved training program designed to help him stay healthy. "I am doing some things, recovery-wise, to keep my body fresh and to keep my mind fresh," Anderson said.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson is off to a strong start, and he had the most carries of any back through the first two weeks. Locked into a workhorse role, consider him a high-end RB2 against Buffalo in Week 3.
