Broncos | Three Broncos cleared for camp

Wed, 27 Jul 2016 13:12:44 -0700

Denver Broncos TE Jeff Heuerman (hamstring, knee), TE Virgil Green (finger) and LB Brandon M. Marshall (finger) have been cleared to participate during training camp.

Fantasy Tip: Heuerman and Green are the top candidates to start at tight end this season and both should receive solid playing time in 2016. The winner of the starting job probably should be considered a low-end No. 2 tight end in most leagues. Heuerman could be a decent option in keeper leagues.

Broncos | Denver QBs to receive equal reps

Wed, 27 Jul 2016 12:36:10 -0700

Denver Broncos QBs Mark Sanchez, Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch will receive equal snaps at the start of training camp, according to head coach Gary Kubiak. Kubiak said there is no timetable on selecting a starting quarterback.

Fantasy Tip: Sanchez and Siemian appear to be the top candidates for the job and the decision likely will not come until after a few preseason games. The winner of the competition will have weapons to work with on offense but should be seen as a No. 2 quarterback in all fantasy leagues.

Broncos | Denver working on Emmanuel Sanders deal

Wed, 27 Jul 2016 12:29:51 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders' representatives are still talking with the Broncos about a contract extension. General manager John Elway said he would like to reach an agreement with Sanders but is not sure what will happen.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders has posted at least 1,100 yards in each of his two seasons with the Broncos and will continue to be a main option in the passing game. Sanders should be a fine No. 2 or No. 3 wide receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Brown probably will have to compete for a roster spot during training camp and likely will not have much fantasy value if he makes the team.

Sun, 24 Jul 2016 09:43:53 -0700

Broncos | Third-down role for Devontae Booker?

Sun, 24 Jul 2016 09:34:28 -0700

Denver Broncos rookie RB Devontae Booker could be put in a third-down role right away thanks to his pass-catching prowess.

Fantasy Tip: Booker definitely has PPR upside heading into his rookie season, and he could take over Ronnie Hillman's job as the primary backup running back. He's worth a look as a low-end RB4 or high-end RB5 in PPR formats.

Broncos | Ronnie Hillman may not make team

Sun, 24 Jul 2016 09:27:40 -0700

Denver Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman could be in jeopardy of not making the final roster if he can't contribute more on special teams during training camp.

Fantasy Tip: It looks like Devontae Booker is in prime position to supplant Hillman as C.J. Anderson's backup, but it's not set in stone. Unless Anderson or Booker are injured before the season starts, Hillman's fantasy value will remain minimal. He can be left on waivers or taken as a deep flier in later rounds at best.

Thu, 21 Jul 2016 06:11:12 -0700

Denver Broncos QB Mark Sanchez was endorsed as the starting quarterback to the team by head coach Gary Kubiak, according to DT Sylvester Williams.

Fantasy Tip: Sanchez is expected to compete with Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch. Sanchez would be a low-end QB2 in fantasy that could have upside with the number of weapons around him.

Broncos | Devontae Booker may be third-down back

Wed, 20 Jul 2016 14:38:41 -0700

Denver Broncos RB Devontae Booker could receive playing time early in the 2016 season as a third-down back because of his pass-catching ability.

Fantasy Tip: Booker should be part of the offense immediately and could receive a bigger role as the season goes on. He should be a late-round option in point-per-reception leagues at this point and probably will also be an attractive option in keeper leagues.

Mon, 18 Jul 2016 11:16:46 -0700
