Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas has decided not to participate in offseason workouts because he does not want to suffer an injury, but general manager John Elway does not know why Thomas is sitting out. "That makes no sense to me, him not getting hurt," Elway said. "If he gets hurt here, he's covered. If he gets hurt on his own... I don't understand it all. It makes no sense for him."
Fantasy Tip: Thomas is looking for a long-term contract from the team and has decided to skip the voluntary workouts. Thomas was one of the better fantasy receivers in 2014 and should be one of the first few selected in drafts next season.

Denver Broncos OG Louis Vasquez will move back from right tackle to right guard for the 2015 season, and he is very happy. "My mentality is I'm a guard," Vasquez said Wednesday, April 22. "I would love to stay inside the trenches. That's how my mentality is. I'm a big, strong guy. I like to get physical. Being out on the outside, it's more finesse. Guys want to rush the passers and that's not my forte."

Denver Broncos CB Bradley Roby said he's open to the idea of serving as the Broncos' safety net, Wednesday, April 22. "I consider myself a cornerback. I don't see myself as a safety. But I am open to it," Roby said. "They have talked about putting me in certain packages to get me on the field rather than having one of their better players watching from the sidelines. I understand what they are thinking." The idea came to head coach Gary Kubiak as an effort to keep the sophomore on the field more. The Broncos' projected starting cornerbacks are Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr.

Denver Broncos CB Chris Harris Jr. expects to be left "on an island" in one-on-one coverage in defensive coordinator Wade Phillips' defense this season. Harris will still line up against opposing slot receivers when the Broncos use their nickel package.

Denver Broncos WR Cody Latimer believes he has already improved this offseason after participating in QB Peyton Manning's Duke passing camp. "I got a lot of repetitions… I am faster than I was [last season], shiftier," Latimer said. Latimer's counterpart, WR Emmanuel Sanders, has already heaped praise on him. "He's a special player. He has strong hands, the physical tools. I think this is going to be the year he jumps onto the map."
Fantasy Tip: Latimer will need to stay healthy and step up his game this season with Wes Welker no longer on the team. He's in an ideal position to win a starting wide receiver job heading into the offseason program. As of now, however, he should be considered no more than a WR3 at best.

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning won't be forced into a playbook that doesn't suit his gifts, according to head coach Gary Kubiak, and Kubiak added that it has been easy to mix his playbook with the playbook Denver used last season.
Fantasy Tip: Although Manning's lingering health concerns should keep him from being the first quarterback taken in fantasy drafts, he should still be considered a solid QB1 heading into the 2015 season.
