Denver Broncos RB C.J. Anderson is capable of 1,400 rushing yards, in the opinion of The Denver Post's Troy E. Renck. Renck said Anderson will be physically ready for the grind of being the lead running back in new head coach Gary Kubiak's run-blocking scheme.
Fantasy Tip: Anderson certainly succeeded and impressed after taking over Denver's starting running back position halfway through the season. A lot is expected of Anderson this season, especially following the success he had last year. He's a solid RB1 candidate and should be taken in the first or second round of fantasy drafts.

Fantasy Tip: This disputes the idea that Anderson and Ball were "1-A and 1-B" in the team's thinking. Anderson is a low-end RB1 in this format, while Ball is an RB4.

Fantasy Tip: Although Thomas is currently holding out for a long-term deal, he will resume his role as Peyton Manning's favorite target as soon as he returns to the field. He is a sure-fire WR1 and should be in the discussion for the best fantasy option at the position.

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning has been forced to deal with a new head coach, a new offensive coordinator, less practice time and more rest during offseason practices, new offensive linemen, a new starting tight end in TE Owen Daniels and not being able to practice with star WR Demaryius Thomas yet.
Fantasy Tip: Manning's work ethic and his desire to practice with teammates have been well known throughout his career, so it's easy to see how this offseason may be a struggle for him. Manning and the Broncos still have a couple months to practice together and become more used to each other and to new head coach Gary Kubiak and new offensive coordinator Rick Dennison. The two biggest concerns may be not practicing with Thomas and the new-look offensive line, specifically left tackle. That being said, as long as Manning can stay healthy, he should still be a top-end QB1.

Denver Broncos WR Cody Latimer said he has made an effort to develop more chemistry with QB Peyton Manning and has dedicated himself to learning head coach Gary Kubiak's playbook. "It's much easier to catch on. It gives you time to play fast; you don't have to think so much," Latimer said. "Not as many adjustments in this offense. Once you know what you're doing out of the huddle, you stick with that. No changing on the run."
Fantasy Tip: Latimer is expected to be on the field whenever the Broncos use three-receiver sets this year, and he has intriguing upside with an expanded role. Don't be afraid to take a chance on Latimer as a WR3 in 2015.

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning was not the subject of talks that had him headed for the Houston Texans. Reports suggested some in the Broncos organization wanted to jumpstart QB Brock Osweiler and start the rebuilding process.
Fantasy Tip: This rumor was denied all the way to the top of the Broncos organization, including by John Elway himself. Manning will stay a Bronco for this season, and his 4,727 yards and 39 passing touchdowns suggest he will be a strong QB1 candidate and one of the first signal-callers off the board. Still, keep an eye out for injuries, as he was hampered by them late in the year.

Denver Broncos DE Shane Ray said he has been working with LBs DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller this offseason and working on improving his play. "Some days I might work with Von on pass coverages, on reading receivers, how I'm supposed to play this receiver in this coverage. With DeMarcus, he might show me some hand stuff or pass rush stuff, like 'maybe you should try this.' With both of those guys, I kinda have the opportunity to look through their eyes on how they see things on the field and I just utilize that and add to my game," Ray said.

Denver Broncos RB C.J. Anderson will begin training camp as the starting running back. Head coach Gary Kubiak said it's his job to hang on to. Kubiak also added that RBs Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman have had solid offseasons and will make the running back battle competitive.
Fantasy Tip: It's no surprise that Anderson is the lead running back right now as he ran for 849 yards and eight touchdowns while starting just eight games last year. If Anderson can hold on to his starting position, he has low-end RB1 upside.

Fantasy Tip: While an even split between Ball and Anderson is probably wishful thinking on the part of Ball, he should at least be the main backup to open the year. Consider him a RB4 for fantasy purposes, and he isnít a bad insurance policy if you select Anderson.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson finished last season on a high note, and he seems determined to remain the lead back in Denver. He has RB1 potential if he receives the bulk of the carries, but with Montee Ball and others making up a crowded backfield, it is safer to draft Anderson as a low-end RB2.

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas is not expected to report to training camp unless a long-term deal is reached before the July 15 deadline to sign franchise players to extensions, according to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.
Fantasy Tip: While there is a chance that Thomas' timing with Peyton Manning could suffer if he continues to stay away from the team, he should still be considered a WR1.

Fantasy Tip: Although the extra practice reps certainly wouldn't hurt, Thomas will be back on the field eventually. Meanwhile, the lost time won't change the fact that Thomas is a WR1 and Manning is a QB1 in all formats.
