Denver Broncos impending free-agent DE Malik Jackson said he would like to stay with the Broncos, but admitted that the business side of free agency could keep that from happening. Jackson also said he'd be happy to receive the franchise tag, but that could be given to LB Von Miller if Miller and the Broncos are unable to reach a long-term deal soon.

Fantasy Tip: Manning said he plans to take a few weeks to decide his status for 2016, and most feel he is likely to call it a career and go out on top. He could return, but it might not be with the Broncos in 2016 due to a huge salary cap hit. Either way, Manning will be more of a QB2 and bye-week replacement rather than a reliable starter if he comes back.

The Denver Broncos only allowed four total touchdowns to the Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers during their Super Bowl run. Denver's three playoff opponents were in the top four in scoring during the 2015 regular season.

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning still has one year remaining on the contract he signed in 2012. His $19 million base salary becomes guaranteed on March 9, and the deal counts $21.5 million against Denver's salary cap. The Broncos' available cap space will be impacted greatly by his decision.
Fantasy Tip: Manning is expected by many to retire, or at least not play with the Broncos next year, but he has about a month before the new league year begins. If Manning chooses to return to football, he should no longer be viewed as a QB1.

Denver Broncos DE DeMarcus Ware said Monday, Feb. 8, that he intends to continue playing. He is entering the final year of his contract. "I got a lot of gas in the tank," Ware said. "(Von Miller) was the one that added the gas to the fire for me, so that's why I'm playing the way I'm playing right now. I don't think about retiring."

Denver Broncos TE Owen Daniels has admitted that he will think about retirement after winning Super Bowl 50. "Of course, of course. That's definitely an option," Daniels told USA TODAY Sports. "But I'm a man of my word, I signed a three-year deal, so I'd like to keep playing. I feel good enough as long as I can get some work done on my 33-year-old knees." He has no more meniscus in his left knee, but his right knee caused him more pain during the 2015 season.
Fantasy Tip: It sounds like Daniels would like to return if he's healthy entering training camp and the start of the 2016 season. He's very comfortable with Gary Kubiak's offense, so that goes a long way. However, with Denver's quarterback situation in flux now, there's no guarantee he'll be anymore productive next year. He's more of a safe TE2 in fantasy leagues if he comes back.
