Fantasy Tip: Green is expected to receive more pass-catching opportunities this season, but he'll have to compete with Garrett Graham and Jeff Heuerman, too. None of the three should be considered a TE1.

Denver Broncos QB Trevor Siemian started with the first-team offense for the first day of organized team activities. Head coach Gary Kubiak said the quarterback competition is open but praised all of the quarterbacks.
Fantasy Tip: Of course, Mark Sanchez isn't able to fully practice yet. He's likely the favorite to start, but either Paxton Lynch or Trevor Siemian could impress enough to win the job. Whoever starts won't be worth starting as a fantasy quarterback, though.

Denver Broncos RB Devontae Booker (knee) has been doing almost all of the drills the other running backs are doing in organized team activities, and it looks like he's close to 100% in his recovery from a knee injury in college.
Fantasy Tip: Booker, if healthy, could wind up being one of the bigger steals of the draft. He has the tools to be an every-down back in the NFL eventually. He'll start the 2016 season behind C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman, but he could eventually force his way into considerable touches if those in front of him are injured or aren't producing. In deeper leagues he's worth an RB5 flier.

Fantasy Tip: Sanchez is slightly limited in OTAs, but the only thing that really matters is that he should be a full go for training camp this summer. He's in position to win the starting quarterback job unless Paxton Lynch really puts on a clinic and unexpectedly forces Denver's hand. Sanchez is more of a game manager and won't be asked to push the ball downfield too often, limiting his fantasy ceiling to that of a midrange backup.

Fantasy Tip: Lynch's contract should not be much of a factor this offseason, which will allow him to participate in all of the offseason workouts. Lynch may receive a chance to compete for the starting job during training camp but likely will be a backup in 2016. He probably will not have much value in standard leagues but can be selected in keeper leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Booker has immediate upside as a third-down back and should have a big enough role in the offense to justify drafting him in the later rounds of drafts.

Denver Broncos RB Devontae Booker (knee) will not participate in the first round of OTAs that begins Tuesday, May 24, as he continues to recover from a torn meniscus, but he is expected to be ready before the start of the season.
Fantasy Tip: Don't hesitate to scoop up Booker in the later rounds of drafts, especially in PPR formats. He should at least contribute as a third-down back as a rookie, and his ceiling only goes up from there.

Denver Broncos QB Mark Sanchez (thumb) is hopeful he'll be able to participate when organized team activities begin next week. Sanchez is currently recovering from surgery on his left thumb and he is encouraged by the progress of the recovery.
Fantasy Tip: It's not a serious injury, to be sure, and it's not even his throwing thumb. Sanchez should return to full strength and full participation in the not-too-distant future, but he still won't be in starting fantasy quarterback territory.

Fantasy Tip: Booker could have a chance to pitch in on third downs and at the goal line. He's an RB5 flyer late in drafts.

Denver Broncos QBs Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemian will see all the snaps in organized team activities with QB Mark Sanchez (thumb) expected to miss the start of workouts after having surgery on his left thumb.
Fantasy Tip: While Sanchez should be fine for training camp later this summer, this injury to Sanchez puts more hype around Lynch possibly seeing time as the starting QB in his rookie season. Sanchez is more of a game manager and won't asked to do too much in Gary Kubiak's offense, which makes him a midrange QB2 in fantasy, at best. Lynch has the upside but is raw and will need plenty of seasoning before he's a legitimate fantasy weapon.

Denver Broncos QB Mark Sanchez (thumb) injured his left thumb in the weight room Thursday, May 12, and underwent surgery Saturday, May 14. He will miss a few organized team activities, according to Mike Kils of 9news.com.
Fantasy Tip: It still sounds like Sanchez will be ready to participate in training camp and should be fine for the regular season. He will probably start over rookie Paxton Lynch, at least to start the season, but Sanchez still isn't worth drafting as a weekly starting fantasy quarterback.
Mon, 16 May 2016 11:47:12 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Green is quickly turning into a sleeper candidate at the tight end position, but he'll have Garrett Graham and Jeff Heuerman with whom to compete. He's not a viable fantasy consideration at this point.
