Fantasy Tip: Bryant is expected to be back on the field in Week 8, but it could be a quiet return against a solid Philadelphia secondary. Consider him a WR3.

Fantasy Tip: Witten doesn't have a high ceiling, but he can be counted on for a few catches and around 40 yards. He could make a serviceable option in Week 8 with six teams on bye.

Fantasy Tip: Romo has missed the first seven weeks of the season because of his back injury and is probably still at least a week away from playing again. Dak Prescott likely will be the starting quarterback against the Philadelphia Eagles and could be a low-end No. 1 fantasy quarterback for owners.

Dallas Cowboys DE Ryan Davis (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 26. RB Lance Dunbar (knee), OT Chaz Green (foot), DE David Irving (ankle), DE Demarcus Lawrence (back), CB Orlando Scandrick (hamstring) and OT Tyron Smith (back) were limited during practice. Fantasy Tip: Witten has been consistent over the last several weeks but has been held to under 50 yards in each of the last four games. He should be considered a No. 2 tight end in most leagues but could be used as bye week replacement in Week 8.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant has been working his way back from his knee injury, but his status for Week 8 is still uncertain. He would be a risky option if he is active for the game but could still be a starting option for owners.
Wed, 26 Oct 2016 06:08:21 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Romo may not be the starter when he's fit to return, and he really holds little fantasy luster outside of two-QB leagues.

Dallas Cowboys RB Lance Dunbar (knee) participated in individual drills Monday, Oct. 24, and indicated he felt "pretty good" afterwards. Dunbar has missed the team's last two games due to tendinitis in his right knee. His status for Week 8 remains unknown.
Fantasy Tip: Dunbar is the team's preeminent pass-catching back, but even when he returns he's unlikely to see enough touches to hold meaningful fantasy value.

Fantasy Tip: It was reported earlier Romo had yet to be "fully cleared" and this only confirms that report. Rookie Dak Prescott has played exceedingly well thus far, so expect the Cowboys to continue to stretch Romo's return out as long as possible. The aging veteran can be left on waivers in fantasy leagues for the foreseeable future.

Fantasy Tip: The expectation for some time has been that Bryant would be near full-strength after the Cowboys' bye and make his return against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8, so it appears he is on the right track. Although owners need to continue monitoring the situation, they should feel reasonably good about plugging him back into their lineups as a high-upside WR2 this week.
Mon, 24 Oct 2016 08:34:25 -0700
Fantasy Tip: It's tough to see Romo supplanting Dak Prescott under center, barring injury, right now. Prescott is a fringe QB1 in fantasy.
Fri, 21 Oct 2016 10:40:13 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Bryant has been out since Week 3 and figures to have a little bit of rust, so he's going to be hard to bench in fantasy. His pre-injury usage suggests he could be a bit hit-or-miss, but he should eventually settle in as a WR2 for as long as Dak Prescott is running the offense.

Wed, 19 Oct 2016 11:08:52 -0700
Fantasy Tip: It is not known if Romo will regain the starting job once he is ready to play again because Dak Prescott has played well in his absence. Owners will need to monitor the situation because Romo can be a No. 1 quarterback for owners if he is starting and is healthy.
