Dallas Cowboys QB Matt Cassel is the starting quarterback again with QB Tony Romo (clavicle) out for the rest of the year. The Cowboys expect Romo to be 100% for the offseason program in March. QB Kellen Moore will likely be added off the practice squad to back up Cassel.
Fantasy Tip: Cassel was winless filling in for Romo earlier this season, and there's no reason to think that he'll drastically turn things around to close out the year. There's nothing to like about Cassel on FantasyScore, really, and you should look to downgrade the likes of Dez Bryant, Jason Witten, Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley in the passing game, too.

Updating earlier reports, Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (clavicle) had a CT scan Friday, Nov. 27, that confirmed a hairline fracture in his left collarbone, and his season is over. He will not require surgery, according to owner Jerry Jones.
Fantasy Tip: Matt Cassel is likely to take over the rest of the season, which means Dez Bryant's value will probably take a hit.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant was a bust for daily owners on Thanksgiving. Now that Tony Romo (clavicle) is done for the year, daily gamers will likely continue to shy away from the receiver with Matt Cassel under center now. Bryant loses a lot of luster in traditional leagues for the remainder of the season, too.

Fantasy Tip: With the likelihood of reaching the playoffs very small, Romo's season could be over.

Updating a previous story, Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (clavicle) will have more tests on his injured left collarbone Friday, Nov. 27, but a source close to the situation said that Romo is "done for the season."
Fantasy Tip: If Romo does indeed miss the remainder of the season, the fantasy value of every member of Dallas' offense suffers.

Fantasy Tip: McFadden was facing a tough Panthers defense, so there was a chance he was going to struggle. McFadden was involved in the passing game, which helps his fantasy value. He probably will receive a bigger role if Tony Romo is sidelined and could be a solid option next week against the Washington Redskins.

Fantasy Tip: There is a good chance that Romo will miss several weeks, so owners will need to keep an eye on his situation. Matt Cassel likely would take over as the starter but should not be a starting option for fantasy owners.

Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (clavicle) is scheduled to undergo more tests after X-rays on his injured clavicle were inconclusive, according to head coach Jason Garrett. Romo said his clavicle feels similar to the way it did when he broke it earlier in the season. Romo said he heard something when he went to the ground.
Fantasy Tip: It appears that Romo may have broken his clavicle again, but owners will need to look for a definite diagnosis. Matt Cassel would start if Romo misses time and is not a great option for fantasy owners.

Fantasy Tip: The injury didn't look good, and Romo was on the ground for a while, so the fear is that this could be another broken collarbone. His status will need to be monitored, of course, but don't be surprised if Romo misses some time again.

Fantasy Tip: Norman has allowed just one touchdown on 61 targets this season. Bryant ($8,300, 16.6% of cap) will have his hands full at less than 100% health. He's a weekly WR1 consideration on FantasyScore, but we understand shying away this week.

Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (foot, knee), RB Darren McFadden (groin) and QB Tony Romo (back, shoulder) are all probable for Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers Thursday, Nov. 26, and they all practiced in full Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Fantasy Tip: None of this trio should really excite you on FantasyScore this week going up against the Panthers. Bryant ($8,300, 16.6% of cap) is a tough sell to return profit going against shutdown corner Josh Norman. Romo ($8,100, 16.2% of cap) has a tall task against a nasty defense in his second game back. And DMC ($6,400, 12.8% of cap) should have a heavy workload but might not be able to break through against a stout defensive front.
