Dallas Cowboys LB Sean Lee (concussion) could still play in Week 5 versus the New England Patriots despite suffering a concussion Sunday, Oct. 4, against the New Orleans Saints, according to executive vice president Stephen Jones.

Dallas Cowboys RB Christine Michael will have a role in the offense, according to executive vice president Stephen Jones, with RB Lance Dunbar (knee) possibly out for the rest of the season. Jones also said the Cowboys will see who's available at the running back position.
Fantasy Tip: Michael will still be in the mix with Joseph Randle and Darren McFadden. Dunbar was more of a receiving threat out of the backfield; that's something McFadden might be most capable of taking over.

Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (foot) could return after the Cowboys' Week 6 bye, according to executive vice president Stephen Jones. Bryant recently had a positive examination of the injured foot and there have been no setbacks. Bryant broke his foot in Week 1 against the New York Giants.
Fantasy Tip: The Cowboys want to make sure Bryant is fully healthy before letting him play again. If he continues to improve and does not aggravate the injury, there is a real possibility he could return in Week 7, also against the Giants.

Updating a previous report, Dallas Cowboys RB Lance Dunbar (knee) suffered a serious knee injury in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints, and the Cowboys fear that Dunbar tore both the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his knee. He is undergoing an MRI exam Monday, Oct. 5.
Fantasy Tip: Despite a crowded Dallas backfield, Dunbar ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) was very useful to owners in point-per-reception leagues like FantasyScore. It looks like Dunbar will have to miss considerable time, if not the rest of the year. That makes Darren McFadden ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) much more intriguing to fantasy owners moving forward. Look to pick him up immediately if he's on your league's waiver wire. Christine Michael ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) is also worth a stash in deeper leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Beasley ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) is a decent low-end FantasyScore option as a WR3 or flex play, especially after the team lost Brice Butler and Lance Dunbar to injury. Someone has to dominate those short to intermediate routes in Dallas.

Fantasy Tip: Witten ($6,200, 12.4% of cap) had a disappointing stat line considering the struggles of the Saints against opposing tight ends. Still, it wasn't half bad. He remains a solid FantasyScore option, especially if Lance Dunbar is sidelined for a while. Witten is a nice safety valve option for Brandon Weeden.

Fantasy Tip: McFadden ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) saw a majority of the touches in the second half, and he could see even more reps with Lance Dunbar going down with an injury.

Fantasy Tip: Williams ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) saved his best for last, as he made a sliding touchdown grab on fourth down inside of two minutes left in regulation to force overtime. He remains a decent low-end WR3 or flex FantasyScore option going forward as long as his salary remains in this range.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 22:05:42 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Randle ($6,500, 13.0% of cap) saw most of his action in the first half before basically disappearing in the second half. It's uncertain if he was benched or he suffered some sort of injury. Stay tuned.

Dallas Cowboys QB Brandon Weeden completed 16 of his 26 pass attempts for 246 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the Week 4 overtime loss against the New Orleans Saints, and he did not fumble.
Fantasy Tip: Weeden ($5,000, 10.0% of cap) and the Cowboys will look to regroup in Week 5 against a rested New England Patriots team coming off a bye.

Updating a previous report, Dallas Cowboys RB Lance Dunbar (knee) will undergo further evaluation after leaving the Week 4 game against the New Orleans Saints. "It doesn't look good," owner and general manager Jerry Jones said Sunday, Oct. 4. Dunbar was wearing a large brace on his left leg and he was on crutches.
Fantasy Tip: Dunbar ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) is likely going to miss multiple weeks with the way his injury looked on the field, and the pessimism from Jones.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 19:39:46 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Butler ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) was injured on a long pass play down the sidelines, one of the key plays of the evening for the Cowboys.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 18:39:25 -0700
Dallas Cowboys RB Lance Dunbar (knee) was helped off the field after suffering an apparent left knee injury on a kickoff return to open the second half of the Week 4 game against the New Orleans Saints. He was carted off to the locker room.
Fantasy Tip: Dunbar ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) was injured when fantasy owners hate seeing their guy playing - on kickoffs when they're not accruing fantasy points but risking injury. The injury did not look good at all, and he would be more of a loss in PPR fantasy formats.
