"We feel very confident we can do things that allow us to be a special unit or take that next step and be really elite. The only thing that really holds us back sometimes, we feel like, are the things we do ourselves. If we can take care of those, we feel we can do something special," Romo said. Ware will receive $5 million in 2009, $14 million in 2010 and $1 million in 2011. Cowboys | Agree to extension with Ware Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a six-year extension with LB DeMarcus Ware Monday, Oct. 26. The deal will be worth roughly $13 million per season and approaching $40 million in guaranteed money. Cowboys | Austin sets another franchise record Charean Williams, of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin set the franchise record for most receiving yards in consecutive games Week 7. Austin topped the 42-year-old record held by former WR Lance Rentzel, who had 368 receiving yards in back-to-back games. Austin has 421 receiving yards in consecutive games.
