Calvin Watkins, of ESPNDallas.com, reports Dallas Cowboys FB Deon Anderson has been charged with misdemeanor deadly conduct after he allegedly pulled a gun during a dispute early Tuesday, Feb. 2 Anderson faces a sentence of up to a year in jail and a fine up to $4,000. According to a police report, off-duty police officers were alerted that a man was in the parking lot of a restaurant with a gun. Anderson said his car wouldn't start after he used valet parking and wanted to know why. Anderson said he didn't put his hands on anybody or use profanity. According to the Addison (Texas) police report, the restaurant employee who filed a criminal complaint said Anderson retrieved a handgun and threatened him with it. Police who were called to scene retrieved a gun from the shrubs and discovered it was loaded with a round chambered.

Calvin Watkins, of ESPNDallas.com, reports Dallas Cowboys FB Deon Anderson was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 2, on traffic warrants discovered by Addison, Texas, police, who were called to a disturbance between Anderson and restaurant staff. Anderson said he was trying to start his car when he exchanged words with a valet attendant and a security guard. Anderson said he did not use any profanity during the incident and declined further comment. Addison police said they are still investigating the incident.

Jones said, "Execution, you hear people talk about execution well execution is a direct product of the coaching. Every bit as much or moreso than the player because those players aren't on that roster unless they can execute. When we look at 'Well we didn't do this well we didn't do that well', and you say we just got to execute better, that means we got to coach better." Jones added, "When you have an asset you work to improve that asset. That's never truer than it is with the evolution of a player no matter at what point he is in his career. You got to take what he does the best."
