Fantasy Tip: Romo could be a game-time decision for Week 9, so owners should track his situation during the week. Romo costs $7,300 on FantasyScore, but owners may want to use their money on a healthier option. Weeden would get the start if Romo is not able to play and would be a desperation sleeper option for owners.

Fantasy Tip: This sounds a lot more promising than some of the earlier reports, and we can't see a bruised back keeping Romo out against the Arizona Cardinals this week. Romo will cost you $7,300 on FantasyScore this week, which is 14.6% of your cap. It's a pretty good price if you deem the risk worthwhile.

Fantasy Tip: Brandon Weeden ($3,700; 7.4% of your cap) would not be worth the start on FantasyScore, despite his good showing in Romo's brief absence last week. Dez Bryant's ($7,500; 15%) stock will take a hit, but Jason Witten's ($5,800; 11.6%) would improve.

Dallas Cowboys OG Ronald Leary (groin), who suffered a strained groin in Week 8, will undergo an MRI exam Tuesday, Oct. 28, to determine the severity of his injury. However, he is hoping to be able to play in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back) will undergo an MRI exam Tuesday, Oct. 28, for a better look at his bruised back. X-rays came back negative Monday, Oct. 27, and he was able to return to the Week 8 game after taking a pain-killing shot. The team expects Romo to be ready to play the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9. He finished the game with 209 yards after going 17-for-28, and he was sacked a season-high five times.
Fantasy Tip: You'll need to keep a close eye on Romo's progress and practice status this week. Even if he plays against Arizona, he's probably not the best option for your FantasyScore lineups. Romo will cost $7,300 (14.6% of cap) in Week 9.

Updating previous reports, Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back) suffered a contusion near the surgical site in his back Monday, Oct. 27. Pain tolerance and mobility will be two factors in play in the short term.
Fantasy Tip: Romo ($7,300; 14.6% of your cap) will face a struggling Arizona Cardinals defense in Week 9. However, his price tag on FantasyScore isn't the most desirable when his mobility is in question.

Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray became the first running back to reach 1,000 yards this season during the team's Week 8 game Monday, Oct. 27. He finished the game with 19 carries for 141 yards and four catches for 80 yards.
Fantasy Tip: Murray continues to be the one of the steadiest, strongest performers at any position for fantasy owners, and despite a tough matchup against Arizona on deck in Week 9, Murray is worth starting at FantasyScore.
