Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron (concussion) didn't practice all week, and he won't be available to play in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also missed two games in 2012 and one last year due to concussions. TEs Jim Dray and Gary Barnidge will carry the load without Cameron playing. Dray has nine catches for 118 yards and a touchdown this year, while Barnidge has five grabs for 54 yards.
Fantasy Tip: With prior experience with concussions, Cameron isn't a sure thing to play next week, either. Dray is the better fantasy play this weekend, but he's a lottery ticket at FantasyScore. The absence of Cameron could benefit Andrew Hawkins and Miles Austin more in a friendly matchup against the Bucs.

Cleveland Browns WR Rodney Smith (hamstring) and DE Phil Taylor (knee) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 30. DE Desmond Bryant (wrist), S Jim Leonhard (ankle), LB Barkevious Mingo (shoulder), DT Ahtyba Rubin (ankle), OT Joe Thomas (non-injury related), CB K'Waun Williams (shoulder, neck) and DE Billy Winn (quadriceps) participated fully.

Fantasy Tip: Cameron is expected to miss at least two weeks. Jim Dray should take over starting tight end duties in his absence and costs the minimal $3,000 on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Jim Dray will get the work at tight end this week, and could be a nice play in FantasyScore with a price of $3,000.

Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron (concussion) still hasn't been cleared to practice and the timetable for his return is unknown. Speculation is that he may miss at least the next two games after suffering a concussion in Week 8. It was his third concussion in about two years.
Fantasy Tip: Jim Dray will start at tight end while Cameron is out and could be a sneaky value play on FantasyScore at the lowest price of $3,000.

Fantasy Tip: Cameron's status for Week 9 is uncertain, because he is coming back from another concussion. If Cameron misses the game, Jim Dray could get the start but likely would not be a starting option on FantasyScore even though he costs $3,000. Miles Austin, Anthony Hawkins and Taylor Gabriel could receive more work in the passing game if Cameron misses the game and could be flex options for owners.

Cleveland Browns RB Isaiah Crowell could be on the field more if he could protect the ball better, according to head coach Mike Pettine. Pettine said part of the team's decision to stick with Ben Tate late in Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders was because of Crowell's fumble issues. Pettine added that he would like Crowell to get more touches this week.
Fantasy Tip: Crowell is a risky option with his recent lack of volume and production, though he is a cheap option on FantasyScore at $3,900 and the fact that Pettine wants to get him the ball more is encouraging.

Cleveland Browns RB Isaiah Crowell had one rush for one yard in Week 8, while RB Terrance West had seven carries for 11 yards. Beat writer Tony Grossi speculated that West must have had better performances in practice than Crowell in the week leading up to the game.
Fantasy Tip: Ben Tate was also ineffective with 15 carries for 26 yards and a touchdown that salvaged his day. This situation could become wide open on a weekly basis in the near future. Tate is still the one to target on FantasyScore. However, his performance against a much-maligned Oakland Raiders run defense is worrisome.
