Fantasy Tip: Elliott is no worse than a high-end RB3, and it's likely he could enter the midrange RB2 mix before the start of the season.

Michigan State QB Connor Cook might be the target of the Cleveland Browns at the end of Round 1 of the 2016 NFL Draft, according to league sources. The team could move down from the No. 8 overall pick and select the former Spartan.
Fantasy Tip: Jared Goff, Carson Wentz, Paxton Lynch and even Christian Hackenberg have had their names tossed around as first-round picks among quarterbacks, but Cook is an interesting addition to the list. The Browns already had a similar player in Brian Hoyer, who also played at Michigan State. It wouldn't be a selection which excites many fans wearing brown and orange or fantasy owners.

Fantasy Tip: It would be a logical strategy for the Browns, who are starving for wide receivers. Treadwell is at least a top-three wide receiver in the draft, and Cleveland could also add draft picks by trading down. There are growing pains with any rookie, but he has high-end WR4 to low-end WR3 potential.

Alabama RB Derrick Henry could be targeted by the Cleveland Browns with their No. 32 overall pick in the NFL Draft, according to Steve Doerschuk of the Canton Repository. Doerschuk views Henry as a potential upgrade over current RB Isaiah Crowell.
Fantasy Tip: Cleveland's backfield isn't as crowded as some may think. Henry is considered a top-three running back in the draft this year, and he would likely be their main short-yardage and goal-line back, with Crowell spotting him in similar situations. Duke Johnson would still be the most attractive fantasy option in Cleveland's backfield with his receiving prowess, but Henry could achieve low-end RB3 status with the Browns.

Cleveland Browns QB Robert Griffin III will have to compete for the starting quarterback job during training camp even though the team traded down in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, according to vice president of football operations Sashi Brown. Head coach Hue Jackson said Griffin's presence on the team did not affect the trade.
Fantasy Tip: Griffin likely is the leading candidate for the starting job at this point but will have to compete for the job during training camp. Griffin will not have a lot of weapons to work with next season if he wins the job and likely will be a No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Hartline may be the Browns' best wide receiver heading into 2016, and that's not good for the Browns. Unless Josh Gordon is reinstated later in the year, it's not really worth drafting any Cleveland wide receivers.

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor seems to be getting more and more comfortable with the transition from quarterback to wide receiver, according to QB Josh McCown. McCown said Pryor isn't thinking as much about what he's doing, which he believes was taking away from Pryor's skill set.
Fantasy Tip: Pryor may be improving, but he's still a work in progress at wide receiver. Don't draft him as more than a WR4 or WR5, especially in one of the weaker offenses in the NFL.

Cleveland Browns QB Josh McCown seems to have a better chance of staying in Cleveland after Cleveland traded down from their No. 2 overall pick. "I don't know what's going to happen," McCown said. "I'm not going to worry about that. I'm just going to focus on what I've got to do today and go and work hard."
Fantasy Tip: That's the mentality of a veteran quarterback, albeit a veteran quarterback who will play a backup role this season behind Robert Griffin III. McCown could still be traded, of course, if the Browns draft Paxton Lynch with their No. 8 overall pick, or someone else later in the draft. He's not on the fantasy radar as of now.
