Fantasy Tip: Crowell likely will be back with the Browns next season and could receive most of the carries. He finished the 2016 season with 952 yards and seven touchdowns and can be a No. 3 running back for fantasy owners next season.

The Cleveland Browns' coaching staff is "all in" on Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, but the front office and owner Jimmy Haslam reportedly are leaning more toward North Carolina QB Mitchell Trubisky, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora.
Fantasy Tip: The report states "the owner badly wants a quarterback" - the same owner La Canfora says pushed hard for Johnny Manziel a few years ago. Garrett has a few minor flaws in his game, but he is one of the more slam-dunk No. 1 overall pick candidates the draft has seen in recent years. Trubisky has one year of starting experience and it is debatable whether or not he's even the top prospect at his position in this draft class. Hopefully for the long-suffering Browns, Garrett and reason will win out.

Fantasy Tip: Crowell doesn't have a lot of leverage here as he doesn't accrue any service time and will be a restricted free agent again next offseason if he doesn't play. He had a career-high 4.8 yards per carry, 952 rushing yards (one off his career high in TDs with seven), 40 catches and 319 receiving yards. He'd be a low-end RB2 in fantasy.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler will presumably compete with Cody Kessler for the starting job, assuming the Browns don't select a quarterback on the first day of the draft next week. Regardless of whom Cleveland adds on offense in the draft, the winner of the quarterback competition will struggle to be anything more than than a low-end fantasy QB2.

Cleveland Browns QB Brock Osweiler reported to team headquarters Monday, April 17, for the start of voluntary offseason workouts. Head coach Hue Jackson has not yet committed to Osweiler staying on the roster when the new season begins.
Fantasy Tip: The Browns have gone on record of saying that they plan on dumping Osweiler, so this is a pretty surprising development. Even so, even if he does manage to remain with the team going into the upcoming campaign, he probably wouldn't be starting under center. Thus, he'll have no worth for fantasy owners.

Cleveland Browns FB Dan Vitale said he is ready for the offseason programs to begin in order to prove what he is capable of. "I'm going to look at it like I'm trying to get better every single day, and I know I can be a Pro Bowler some day," Vitale said.
