Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green said his mind is at ease entering the 2016 season. "I don't have to worry about contracts or anything like that," Green said. "I just go in there free, [with a] clear head, just go out there, work and have fun."
Fantasy Tip: How Green's mindset translates on the field remains to be seen, but an eased mind doesn't hurt. He's by far the Bengals' top receiving option, which means he'll probably still see plenty of double teams. He may have to work a little harder, but he should still be viewed as a late first-round pick or early-second round pick.

Fantasy Tip: Nugent has been a solid kicker for the Bengals over the last six years and should win the job again during training camp. The Bengals have one of the better offenses in the NFL, which makes Nugent an attractive option for fantasy owners.

Cincinnati Bengals DE Will Clarke has a chance to receive more playing time in 2016 since DE Wallace Gilberry signed with the Detroit Lions this offseason. Clarke was on the field for only 12% of the defensive snaps last season.

Fantasy Tip: Even if he misses a handful of games, Eifert is still a TE1 candidate, albeit more of a mid-range option. Meanwhile, his absence early in the year could speed up the growth of rookie receiver Tyler Boyd.

Cincinnati Bengals WRs Mario Alford, Jake Kumerow and Brandon Tate were named by director of player personnel Duke Tobin as receivers who can contribute behind WRs A.J. Green, Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd.
Fantasy Tip: Tate might be the better bet of the three to have fantasy value with his experience and return ability, but none of them should be regarded as vital additions to fantasy rosters.

Fantasy Tip: Obviously, Boldin can continue to be avoided as long as he's unemployed. He is still one of the better free-agent wide receivers out there, though.

Fantasy Tip: While it remains to be seen how quickly Boyd will adjust the NFL game, he is a safe bet for a lot of playing time. Consider him a WR5 with plenty of upside.

Cincinnati Bengals rookie WR Tyler Boyd should expect his share of catches this season as long as he progresses through training camp the same way he steadily improved during workouts this spring, according to his receivers coach James Urban. "He's been improving every day. We're excited to see him and how he'll contribute to what we're going to do -- because he will. He's going to help us," Urban said.
Fantasy Tip: It is anyone's guess as to how and why Brandon LaFell has seemingly secured the starting job opposite A.J. Green already, but the veteran will have to avoid his drop-prone ways in camp and during the preseason to hold off the sure-handed Boyd. There are plenty of targets to be had in Cincinnati with the uncertain nature of Tyler Eifert's recovery from ankle surgery, not to mention the departures of Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu. Boyd should be considered a high-upside WR5 prospect in 2016.
