Sun, 24 Apr 2016 18:43:12 -0700

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton said he worked out with TCU WR Josh Doctson and believes Doctson will be successful for any team that drafts him.

Fantasy Tip: The Bengals need a receiver after losing Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu this offseason, and if Doctson lands in Cincinnati, he would be worth a shot in the later rounds.

Bengals | Tyler Kroft to be used more?

Sat, 23 Apr 2016 12:39:58 -0700

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Kroft could be more of a receiving threat in 2016 as the Bengals try to break in WR Brandon LaFell and possible rookie wide receivers, in the opinion of Geoff Hobson of www.bengals.com.

Fantasy Tip: Kroft is still second fiddle to Tyler Eifert, obviously, but he could see more defensive attention this season. He still won't have much fantasy relevance unless Eifert is injured.

Bengals | Andy Dalton healthy

Mon, 18 Apr 2016 15:52:57 -0700

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (thumb) said he's fully healed from his thumb injury.

Fantasy Tip: Dalton has yet to duplicate his 2013 with 4,293 yards and 33 touchdowns. He's still an efficient passer, completing 66.1% of his passes last year, but does he still have untapped potential? He'll be in the low-end QB1 mix in fantasy.

Bengals | Cincinnati wants to keep Tyler Eifert

Thu, 14 Apr 2016 20:03:47 -0700

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert has exceeded all expectations, according to head coach Marvin Lewis, and beat writer Paul Dehner Jr. believes the Bengals will try to sign Eifert to a long-term extension in September of 2017.

Fantasy Tip: Eifert enters the 2016 season as the No. 2 option in Cincinnati's passing attack, and other than Rob Gronkowski, he has much upside as any tight end.

Bengals | Tyler Eifert's option picked up

Wed, 13 Apr 2016 11:54:46 -0700

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert had his 2017 option exercised Wednesday, April 13.

Fantasy Tip: Eifert really broke out in 2015 and is currently the Bengals' second best receiving option behind A.J. Green. Eifert could see even more targets in 2016 with Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu gone, too, and he's still an elite scoring option. If he stays healthy he should finish as a top fantasy tight end again.

Bengals | Cardale Jones works out for Cincy

Wed, 06 Apr 2016 12:45:48 -0700

Ohio State QB Cardale Jones recently worked out for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Tip: The Bengals are set with Andy Dalton as their starter. AJ McCarron is a capable backup, but Jones could compete for that spot if selected. Jones is a developmental quarterback right now and should not be seriously considered in traditional fantasy drafts.

Bengals | Hakeem Nicks visits with Cincy

Tue, 05 Apr 2016 14:05:00 -0700

Free-agent WR Hakeem Nicks (Giants) worked out with the Cincinnati Bengals Tuesday, April 5, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Nicks had just seven catches for 54 yards for the G-Men in six games in 2015, and he's unlikely to carry any significant fantasy value this season. The Bengals are still looking for receivers, but Nicks would be a third or fourth receiver for them, at best.

Bengals | Andy Dalton throwing without restrictions

Tue, 05 Apr 2016 09:39:31 -0700

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (thumb) is throwing the ball again and has no restrictions with his thumb, and he has visited with passing specialist Tom House once already this offseason. Dalton isn't worried about the loss of WRs Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu in free agency this year.

Fantasy Tip: Dalton still has A.J. Green and Tyler Eifert as his top two receiving targets, so that's not too shabby. Brandon LaFell will likely become the No. 3 option. Expected to be fully healthy for Week 1, Dalton proved he is QB1 worthy in fantasy leagues, albeit at the lower end of the starting quarterback spectrum.
