Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler had a decent season in 2015, and with Dowell Loggains promoted from quarterbacks coach to offensive coordinator, it could be another big year for the veteran quarterback. He also gets WR Kevin White back from injury, and he could have a late-career bounce back season similar to that of New York Giants QB Eli Manning, San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers and Pittsburgh Steeler QB Ben Roethlisberger.
Fantasy Tip: Cutler has a handful of talented running backs to take some pressure off of him, he has a decent offensive line and a top-notch weapon in Alshon Jeffery on the outside. If White can make strides in 2016 after missing his rookie season due to injury, Cutler might re-emerge as a Top 12 fantasy option at his position.

Fantasy Tip: White is essentially in his first season, as his entire rookie season was wiped out due to a preseason injury. There will be growing pains, but if he can start opposite Alshon Jeffery and curb the drops, he'll be a strong WR3/4 or flex fantasy option since he has speed to burn.

Updating previous reports, Chicago Bears RB Jeremy Langford, RB Ka'Deem Carey, RB Jordan Howard and RB Jacquizz Rodgers will be part of a committee in the backfield, and head coach John Fox plans to limit their workloads and ride the hot hand. The team wants Langford to run with a wider base and gain more yards after contact. Carey needs to build on his toughness and become a more complete back. Both figure to be part of the committee approach. Howard adds a bruiser skill set in short-yardage and goal line situations.
Fantasy Tip: The reporter scribed that it "promises to be hell for fantasy football owners." Langford figures to be the leader of the pack, but he's not someone you can depend on week to week unless he takes off from the gate. He's a high-end RB3 in fantasy that could be maligned to good matchups for a flex play. Carey and Howard are RB5 projects that you can grab in hopes that they become said hot hand. Rodgers has a ways to go before he's an intriguing chip in fantasy with three backs possibly ahead of him.

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery and the Bears did not agree to a long-term deal before the deadline Friday, July 15. ESPNChicago.com's Jeff Dickerson said the disconnect between both sides is obvious, and he questioned if the Bears view Jeffery as a No. 1 wide receiver.
Fantasy Tip: Even though a deal was not done, Jeffery is still easily the Bears' best pass-catcher. When healthy, Jeffery is a WR1 and should be drafted as such in all fantasy formats.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery will be the team's No. 1 receiver in 2016 as long as he can stay healthy. He was limited to nine games in 2015 but was still able to record 807 yards and four touchdowns. Jeffery should be an early-round pick in most fantasy drafts this season.

Updating previous reports, Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery would have to dramatically decrease his salary expectations for a long-term deal to be completed by the July 15 deadline for franchise-tagged players. The scenario is unlikely to happen.
Fantasy Tip: On the bright side, he'll be a contract-year player this fantasy season with his sights set on a WR1 contract. He'll have to prove he can stay healthy and be a WR1, but he's a safer WR2 in the fantasy spectrum.

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery is far apart in talks on a long-term deal, and there isn't much optimism a deal will get done. "I sense that both sides really don't feel strongly about this one," said NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. "That's because Jeffery's got a $14.6 million tag. The Bears wanted to come in a couple of million below that."
Fantasy Tip: Jeffery's health has been a question with nagging injuries. He had a 54-807-4 line in nine games last season and he's a threat when he's on the field. He's a safer WR2 in fantasy.
