Chicago Bears DE Jared Allen said he is curious about the team's new defense in 2015, especially if the team moves to a base 3-4 defense. "It's not that I can't do it," Allen said. "For me, it is a question of what kind of system are we going to run? How do I fit in the system? How do we achieve our goals? These things will play out."

Chicago Bears WR Brandon Marshall may not return to the team in 2015, in the opinion of ESPNChicago.com's Michael C. Wright. The thinking is that Marshall and WR Alshon Jeffery are too similar of receivers, and the team needs more diversity at the position. Wright also wrote that this was strictly a possibility, and he expects Marshall to be on the team in 2015.
Fantasy Tip: Marshall had a slew of injuries in '14, and he'll be 31 in March. Will he be a bounce-back candidate or is this the beginning of his decline? We think he'll bounce back, but his 100-1,295-12 days may be over. Look for him as a low-end WR1 or an elite WR2 in traditional leagues next season.

Chicago Bears LB Lance Briggs would like to return to the team in 2015, even though his future is uncertain. Briggs said he is excited about the team hiring head coach John Fox. "John, I think, he's the right man for the job," Briggs said. "I've seen John over the years. He's had a lot of success in the NFL. He understands the NFL. He's a football coach."

Chicago Bears PK Jay Feely said QB Jay Cutler isn't a leader off of the field. "That's not who he is. You're going to have a vacuum there," Feely said on Mad Dog Sports Radio. "So you have to know that as a general manager or a head coach, 'Hey, we're not going to have that leadership from this position, so we've really got to have other guys that are going to step up and are going to be our verbal leaders.'"
Fantasy Tip: Cutler will probably be the de facto starter entering the season. If he returns with a chip on his shoulder, he could be a nice find later in traditional league drafts.

Fantasy Tip: With this hiring it is hard to believe Cutler will be traded to another organization. For fantasy owners, Cutler will be a fringe QB1 in leagues of 12 or more teams and a solid daily play when the matchup and salary is favorable.

Fantasy Tip: Gase had great success in Denver with future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, but can he replicate that production with Jay Cutler in Chicago? Only time will tell, but Cutler has the offensive weapons to be productive enough to be a midrange QB1 in many weeks again next season, despite the coaching upheaval.
