Fantasy Tip: Jeffery remains away from the team during voluntary workouts as he rehabs from his injuries last year. He should be good to go for training camp later this year, and Jeffery remains one of the more explosive wideouts when he's healthy. View him as a WR1 worth taking in the early rounds.

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) did not show up for offseason workouts, according to a source. He is training in South Florida, according to a source, with the Bears' permission. Jeffery has already signed his franchise tag and is training in order to fix the soft tissue problems in his hamstring that plagued him in 2015. He is expected to report for mandatory minicamp from June 14 to June 16, if not sooner, according to the source.
Fantasy Tip: Being at full health is the primary concern for Jeffery and the Bears this offseason. He's one of the best wide receivers in the NFL when he's fully healthy, and he should still be viewed as a WR1 heading into 2016 fantasy drafts.

Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott is on the Chicago Bears' radar less than a week away from the NFL Draft. Elliott has already visited the Bears and has said that he would love to play for running backs coach Stan Drayton, who recruited Elliott to Ohio State and coached him there.
Fantasy Tip: That's definitely an intriguing connection for Elliott and the Bears. Chicago doesn't pick until No. 11, though, and another interested team in the New York Giants picks right before them. Miami could also trade up for Elliott, so the Bears may be just out of reach. Jeremy Langford is currently their No. 1 running back, and he's worth RB2 consideration if the Bears don't end up with Elliott.

Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler's guaranteed money on his seven-year extension has all been paid, and beat writer Dan Wiederer believes the fact that the team isn't locked into keeping Cutler beyond 2016 makes it more likely the Bears will draft a quarterback at some point in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Tip: Even if the Bears do draft a quarterback this season, it isn't going to have an impact on Cutler's value in 2016.

Fantasy Tip: White missed the entire 2015 season because of a shin injury but appears to be on track to play in 2016. White could have a chance to start for the Bears next season and should be a solid part of the passing game. White could be a late-round option in most leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Lynch has a chance to be selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft and could be an option for the Bears if they are looking for a quarterback of the future. Lynch probably would be a backup in 2016 if he joins the Bears but could be a solid fantasy player in the future.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery is easily the best offensive weapon the Bears have with Matt Forte now out of town. He had trouble staying on the field last season, but he's worth the money when he is healthy. Draft him as a WR1 again this year.

The Chicago Bears are unlikely to trade for New York Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson. The Jets won't just give him away, and Bears general manager Ryan Pace is putting a big premium on draft picks this year, so the chances of a trade happening appear slim, in the opinion of the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs.

The Chicago Bears signed OT Bobby Massie to a three-year contract in the offseason, but only $6.5 of the $18 million is guaranteed. If the team drafts a right tackle, or elects to move OG Kyle Long back to tackle, they could get out of Massie's deal after just a one-year experiment.
