Fantasy Tip: Cutler turns 34 in April and has missed games in seven straight seasons. If he continues his career, it'll likely be with another team. He'll be a QB2 without a lot of upside.

Fantasy Tip: Cutler is aging and has been injury prone in his career. He'll likely don a new uniform next season, but he's a QB2 in fantasy without a lot of upside.

Fantasy Tip: Cutler has undeniably been a disappointment for the Bears after being given a big contract. Cutler has dealt with plenty of injuries over the course of his tenure in Chicago, but even when he's been on the field he has not played well. Wherever Cutler plays, he shouldn't be starting on fantasy squads.

Chicago Bears impending free-agent QB Brian Hoyer is a logical choice to be re-signed if the Bears draft a rookie quarterback, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Jeff Dickerson. Hoyer is open to mentoring younger players and also still has some fuel left in the tank after throwing over 1,400 yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions in six games last year.
Fantasy Tip: Chicago does need to address their quarterback situation. Jay Cutler is not the answer and Hoyer is aging. For fantasy purposes, it's best to avoid drafting any Chicago quarterback, although Cutler and/or Hoyer are serviceable bye-week replacements and streaming options if necessary.

Chicago Bears impending free-agent TE Logan Paulsen may not be re-signed, according to ESPN.com's Jeff Dickerson. Paulsen did play in all 16 games last season, but "the Bears probably want more production from that spot, or fewer penalties," in the words of Dickerson.

Chicago Bears impending free-agent OG Ted Larsen may need to play somewhere else in 2017 if he wants a starting gig, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Jeff Dickerson. OGs Kyle Long, Josh Sitton and Cody Whitehair, among others, may keep Larsen from cracking into the starting offensive line.

Chicago Bears impending free-agent WR Alshon Jeffery could be given the franchise tag for a second straight year. That tag would cost the Bears $17.5 million. That being said, both sides prefer a long-term deal, according to ESPN.com's Jeff Dickerson.
Fantasy Tip: Jeffery will be one of the most coveted free agents on the market this offseason. The Philadelphia Eagles have been one team mentioned as a possible suitor. His fantasy value is difficult to gauge since we don't yet know where he'll be playing. It's likely that he'll be a low-end WR1 to high-end WR2, though.
