Bears | Kevin White is full-go
Chicago Bears WR Kevin White (shin) has not been limited during organized team activities. White said he is trying to use as much energy as he can and run as fast as he can after not playing at all in 2015.
Bears | Chicago to use committee backfield
Chicago Bears RB Jeremy Langford will battle with RBs Jordan Howard, Ka'Deem Carey and Jacquizz Rodgers for touches in a crowded backfield during offseason workouts. Head coach John Fox is intent on running with a committee approach after the departure of RB Matt Forte. Langford has a leg up after scoring seven touchdowns in his rookie season. However, he had only 3.6 yards per carry and 1.13 yards after contact, which ranked second to last out of 47 players with 100 carries, according to ESPN Stats and Information. Langford must also work on improving his hands after struggling with drops in 2015. Howard's bruising style appeals to the team as a complement to Langford's speed. Carey is the only back that wasn't acquired by the current coaching staff, and he's being pushed to become more versatile and to play better on third downs. Rodgers it the veteran and could be trusted more than any other rusher on third downs early in the year.

Bears | Leonard Floyd eating often
Chicago Bears rookie LB Leonard Floyd has an alarm set on his phone to remind him to eat every couple of hours, as mandated by the Bears. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio isn't concerned as much with Floyd's weight as he is about the speed with which Floyd plays. "We wanted speed," Fangio said. "Our team speed up front last year was below average. To add somebody with some speed as part of his toolbox is something we were intrigued by."

Bears | Leonard Floyd's weight not an issue
Chicago Bears LB Leonard Floyd's weight is not an issue and the team does not plan to have him bulk up, according to defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. "The weight thing's not a big thing with me," Fangio said. "He's going to weigh somewhere between 230 and 235. That's just what he's going to weigh. We knew that before we drafted him. So it's not an issue."

Bears | Kevin White compared to former Colt
Chicago Bears WR Kevin White was compared to free-agent WR Andre Johnson (Colts) by Bears wide receivers coach Curtis Johnson. Johnson coached Johnson at the University of Miami. "He's very similar to him. They're both big and physical and fast," Johnson said. "That doesn't all go together sometimes. White has hand similar to [former Indianapolis Colts] WR Reggie Wayne. So he was one of those guys where when you looked at the draft and watched television, you say this guy is going to be a bona fide player."
Bears | Coach thinks Jeremy Langford can improve
Chicago Bears RB Jeremy Langford could improve his work in the passing game, but the team likes where he is at this point, according to offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains. "We like where Jeremy's at," Loggains said. "He needs to continue to develop. There are things he can do a better job of in the passing game."
Bears | Jordan Howard will have role in 2016
Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard will be used as a change-of-pace back in 2016 since he has a different style of running than RB Kendall Langford, according to offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains. "He's a change-of-pace back. Their skill sets are different. We'll use the skill set the way it needs to be. We won't ask them to both do the same thing, but we'll find out what Howard does well and we'll play to that," Loggains said.
