With Wansley's likely OUT for Week 14, the team will probably move S Dwight Smith to cornerback and S Jermaine Phillips would become the team's starting strong safety. The team may add a free agent cornerback later this week as well.

-- WR Rod Gardner (arm) suffered a contusion to his upper right arm in Sunday's, Nov. 30, game against the New Orleans Saints, and did not return to the game. His status has yet to be determined.
-- OT Chris Samuels (knee) is not expected to practice this week or play in the Week 14 game against the New York Giants. OT Brandon Winey is expected to take Samuels' place at left tackle for the second consecutive game.
-- C Larry Moore (foot) has been cleared to practice this week and may be available for the Week 14 game against the New York Giants. Moore had been sidelined the past three games with a foot injury. C Lennie Friedman would likely remain the starting center even if Moore returns.
