Seattle Mariners SP Felix Hernandez will start the opening game of a series against the Oakland Athletics Friday, July 11. He was originally scheduled to pitch against the Minnesota Twins Thursday, July 10, but manager Lloyd McClendon pushed him back one day so that his ace could face the AL West leaders. McClendon did not announce who would start against Minnesota Thursday.
