WCPO.com reports former Cincinnati Bengals LB James Francis will spend five years on probation and must pay $425,000 in back child support per a sentence handed down Thursday, June 16. Francis was arrested in Galveston, Texas, and extradited to Cincinnati to face two felony counts of non-payment of child support. If he does not make the child support payments, he faces 11 months in jail. His lawyer argued Francis had set up a trust fund for the child and that his payments were supposed to be reduced when he retired from the NFL.
