WCPO.com reports former Cincinnati Bengals LB James Francis will spend five years on probation and must pay $425,000 in back child support per a sentence handed down Thursday, June 16. Francis was arrested in Galveston, Texas, and extradited to Cincinnati to face two felony counts of non-payment of child support. If he does not make the child support payments, he faces 11 months in jail. His lawyer argued Francis had set up a trust fund for the child and that his payments were supposed to be reduced when he retired from the NFL.

WCPO.com reports former Cincinnati Bengals LB James Francis has been ordered to pay $419,000 in child support in order to be released from jail. Francis was arrested in Galveston, Texas and extradited to Cincinnati to face two felony counts of non-payment of child support.
